I'm running for SRC council and NUS, under the Choice ticket.

Pass. If i wanted a loud, annoying, shrill idiot to represent me - I would've voted for John Brogden.

Oops... was that too soon?

I've changed tickets now. I'm now heading the "Ecologically Sustainable Campus" ticket.

It isn't that hard to just shake your head and say "no, thanks". Or is it?

That's strange, because I have never had a problem when refusing to accept the flyers in a polite manner, even when running the gauntlet on the day of an election. You don't have to take the flyer, even if they attempt to place it in your hands.

I should point out that public election campaigning of any kind is technically not allowed until Monday - so let's not tempt fate and get ourselves disqualified, okay?

Well, get all your friends to vote for me too - so that instead of pushing my policies I can actually get them done.

Yes, it is. :p
I feel mean when I say no, but I usually don't make eye contact with them, which is even worse.
