What school does she go to?.. You still can apply for another one... The dates close 31st.. But not sure about what you're gonna write on the bit on the form which asks you to rank the order of preference.

duh? what other school stops you from doing courses you want to do!
i'm pretty sure you would be able to do all the courses you wanted if u went to a lower ranked school.. don't you think??

these selective schools are pretty selfish like you once said.

but i still want to go sefton, so i can see for myself. hehe

Okay. I was thinking... What about Fort Street High? Is anyone applying for this school?

I downloaded a pdf file, and it states that you need to complete a Student Identification Form, but the thing is that I cant access it.

what's the point of trying out for a low ranked selective school?

might as well just stay at the one yor in unless the school blows

Because lower ranked schools might provide me with the courses I want to do, plus I wont get in higher ranked school

Exactly. If they offer the courses and the atmosphere of the school is good then why not go to it. If you can get the benefits from the school... use them to the best of your ability then it's a good school.

If you can't get into a higher ranked school there is nothing wrong with that. My school isn't even ranked.

Yes. It's the first time I hated my school so much!!!!! And its stupid that only one exam determines whether you can do science. I mean, what if you stuffed up that test!!!???!!!
There's these people in the grade that got 90% + in the science exam, but they weren't allowed to do science because they didnt achieve 80+ in the maths exam.

If anyone has a school that does this, I urge you to change schools now!!!!!!
I'd like you prove you wrong. I got below 80% got maths and yet Fearnside still let me do physics, chem AND biology :) . Oh and also, I did NOT get 90% for science either ;)

Oh wait .. do you mean 80/140 or 80% for maths ?

I thought that because St. George was so far away from where i live
no one would apply
but i already know 5 people i know who applied
and thats alot ..
so even though theres no test
i think it'd be really competitive and hard to get in
