rumour has it that: it's almost impossible to get band 6 in standard english but it's more possible in advance english...

So which is more preferable?

I'm only average for advance in my school. Should I drop to standard because it's easier? I might not be able to get band 6 in adavance so does that mean it's possible for me if I drop to standard?

It is basically impossible to get over 80 in standard course, search the threads for other threads very similar to this, and read their comments.

Krust, Band 6 is Standard English is Band 6 in Advanced. Scaling and Aligning occurs so that Standard and Advanced can be compared.

I would reccomend Advanced if you are good enough as the group average will improve your aligned mark when aligning of your marks occurs.
