Yeah is true that taping other people's voice is an invasion of privacy.

So you have to ask for permission from the lecturer to whether he allows it or not.

If he doesnt, kick him!

who cares
my MD player is soo small i can just put it in my pocket and my microfone is also soo small its not easily visible as i can just clip it on my sleeve of inside my shirt
and its very highly sensitive so it will pick up everything the lecturer says

no i dont have that new one that can trasnfer from comp
if i wanted an mp3 on my comp on my MD i would plug in a cable to the speaker output and into the input of my MD and play the song on mp3 whilst recording it on my MD

I thought of recording my lectures - but when i thought about it even harder...am i actually gonna come home, and listen to this recording of the lecture AGAIN for another hour? I have a palm top, but i don't think i'll be using it. I'll decide after the first few weeks.

u can buy them anywhere, babyslug, at k mart, big w, office works like u said, but there are 2 types...the coloured pages and the blank white ones...i think that the coloured are a bit more expensive, i cant remember but the coloured ones look a little nicer becoz u can seperate which subjects u want each colour for.

they cost about $5.00 for one book that is 250 pages seperated by 5 dividers.

the only downside about the five subject lecture pads are that they won't fit into my bag :(
