Hey guys. I made a post on this before I did my trials, and I just got them finished. I was wondering if someone could chime in and let me know if it's still possible to get an atar of 60 after doing trials? Here are my ranks:

English Adv: 56/78
Legal Studies: 15/28
Industrial Tech: 7/29
Software Design and Dev: 8/12
General Maths: 41/72

School rank: 407

I feel like my ranks won't change very much from my trials results, as I think I performed similarly to how I usually do. Is it still possible to get the ATAR I need if I really crack down and study like crazy before the HSC? Really just wanting to know if there's still hope or not. Thanks guys.

Yes. HSC externals still count for 50% of your ATAR.

Crack down and get studying! :)

Good luck.

Awesome, great to hear! Any idea what my atar would be right now? I'm assuming its around 40 to 45 or something like that. Im basically trying to do as best as i can in the hsc right now, but my aim is to bring my marks up in every subject by about 20%-25%, which would end up with me getting around 70%-85% in my hsc exams. But is that gonna be enough to get a 60 ATAR? I have a feeling i'm gonna have to get 90% or 95% in each hsc exam to pull a 60 ATAR at this point, haha.
