Stimulus/Intention for major comp (1 Viewer)

my teacher told me that i shouldnt use the stimulus/intention that i have chosen for my major comp, as she thinks there would be other comps with the same stimulus. But i think that it is all up to the way you interpret it, so wouldnt that mean that it would be different seeing as though it is my own interpretation?
Anyway, what do you do if you were told this?...change to another stimulus or keep the one that you want to do?

You need to trust your teacher. If they have said its too common, than its too common. Yes all stimuli are open to their own interpretation but... you never ever know what someone else has done with the same stimuli. They may have the same idea and similar movements and have structured it slightly better which would mean that your marks may go down dramatically.

i dont actually do dance, but i think that, just like in drama, its better to be as original as possible. if i were u id change the stimulus ur using. gud luck :p
