Since the study games have worked so well for other topics I thought one for the cold war might help people out too
So first question

What role did military/industrial manufacturers play in the Cold War?

This question has had me stumpted for ages.
I was thinking mabye looked at ecnomic compeition b/w the Soviet Union and USA?
Devlelopment of Arms race???

Industrialists and manufacturers profited from the cold war, the arms race and the space race (because the economy was dominated by demands of the arms race etc. ) , As a result they provided the electoral and financial support for candidates in favour of major arms spending and opposed arms reduction. eg. Lockheed supported hawkish politicians who encouraged increases in arms spending
