The HSC is just a game. You have to learn how to play the game to do well. I'm a big fan of, 'work smarter, not harder'. For maths, learn concepts and apply that with harder questions. You don't want to burn out before the HSC. Spend one day of the holidays just going through each topic - making sure you grasp an understanding of the concept. Then do the harder HSC style questions. For English, write a perfect essay and memorize it...it's not brain surgery ffs! You must know your texts of course, but more importantly learn how to adapt your prepared response in order to effectively answer the question.

Good luck, just remember - time is a commodity we don't have in year 12, use your time wisely.
