this only applies for physics since i dont do chem:

For the formulas and math part, you have to understand how they work, why they work and where is it relevant

For the word bits you just ahve to bite the bullet and try memorise it. Nothing else works for me.

use the sylybuss and make sure you UNDERSTAND what you are studying, you cant just memorise points, you have to be able to understand info for the sciences and apply to diff. situations

OK for me, understand all the theory beforehand required by syllabus and jot down really important stuff, like solubility rules for chem on a piece of paper. Revise these stuff regularly. Know how to do calculation and use principles (ie. Le Chatalier) by doing some questions. Once you have got good at calculations, then all you need is the cram the night before and digest as much minor details of the theory into your head (like polymer names and their uses- always forget after a few days)

try and link the whole course together... and how all the topics inter-relate instead of just small facts here and there. Once your in a test a simple reminder of one point would then allow you to remember perhaps a whole topic of information... see the subject as a whole rather than small pieces... works for me

listen to the great sparrow. Pride of the King's navy you are. Do not lose these: [guaranteed to work, just ask maccccccca]

u do jack the whole year {pardon the pun :D}, then the day before the final exam, u CRAM like u never crammed before!

Can it be done, u ask?
Well,
Mr. Cotton. Do you have the courage and fortitude to follow orders and stay true in the face of danger and almost certain death?
