Hello,
Just to preface, the subjects I do are:
- Standard Maths (good so far)
- Advanced English (it's okay)
- Bio (HELP!)
- Business (it's okay)
- SOR II (HELP!)
I've asked a few people about this but I want to gather other people's opinions on the best study method for each subject, especially the ones I've mentioned as okay or I need help with. So far, what I've gathered from people is to do HSC Questions on the topic and focus on questions rather than placing more emphasis on memorising notes, which I understand and need to implement. I've seen studying techniques too such as Pomodoro, Fenymann, Spaced repetition, Active Recall, etc. but I'm not sure which ones are effective. Currently, I've been using YPT, the studying app to stay on track with my work and see how long I'm spending on each subject and reflect on how effective it really is, which keeps me on task and motivated to do effective studying, rather than sitting with my notes or the textbook for long.
Any help is appreciated!
