did you notice the promo still had the CBS watermark in it blured out by channel 9, still visable tho.

CBS.com Transcript with Rudy Boesch

SURVIVOR Host: There are tons of great questions for Rudy, so let's begin. Hi Rudy! Thanks for being here today. Are you ready to take some questions?
Rudy: Yeah...

micaIa: Hi Rudy! After Tribal Council, did you suspect Rupert might have broke your alliance and voted you off?
Rudy: No, I trusted Rupert right from the beginning. Me and Rupert made an alliance, and he said he could trust me and I said I could trust him, and we'll stay together until the end of the program. I trusted Rupert and, as you can see at the end of the show, Rupert voted against Ethan.

rink: Rudy, do you have friends in the Mafia? It sounded like you were gonna put a hit out on your tribe ... hehe.
Rudy: You know, when you get voted off, you're mad at the world, and I made a couple of dumb statements. Since then I've thought it over, and the tribe was exactly correct in voting me off. They did the right thing.

memsee: I was happy to see you on SURVIVOR again, Rudy. Was it harder this time around?
Rudy: SURVIVOR wasn't any harder this time. It's not a matter of the elements, it's putting up with the people. Probably this time the people are a little smarter because they've been there before, and I'd predict there's going to be a lot of cutthroating before the end of the show.

RudyKicksNavyButt: RUDY! RUDY! RUDY! I love you, man! Did you ever get sick from drinking the water without boiling it?
Rudy: When we first got there, they said, "We're gonna give you water, but you have to boil it before you drink it." I said to myself right then, "I don't care if I boil it or not," because over the years I've had dirty water and it didn't phase me, so I was sure this wouldn't either.

shore: Describe the four remaining Saboga tribe members in one word.
Rudy: Rupert is a man you can trust. He gave me his word and stuck by it. Jenna is kinda hyper; she's a good athlete. I thought I was kinda mad at Jenna because I thought it was her fault I was voted off. Jerri was going along with Jenna, so I couldn't blame her much. Ethan is a very good athlete. They need him on this tribe, and Ethan's name was never mentioned, so I can't blame him for nothing.

Spyke: Rudy, who is the most interesting person you've met through the game?
Rudy: Of all people, it'd have to be Richard.

JennaLover: Rudy, I think you were amazing out there. Was there anybody out there that you were surprised they brought back?
Rudy: It surprised me that Jenna from the first SURVIVOR was back, but no, not really. The rest of them are pretty outstanding people. They all stood out for some reason or another.

RudyRox: Rudy, who were the two guys that were spooning on last night's episide?
Rudy: You know, I don't know! I can't pick them people out. It seemed like they were under t-shirts; I won't say blankets because we didn't have. I don't know, I don't know who they were. It wasn't me.

EthanZohnsLova: Did you hate the tribe that you were in when you found out who the ALL-STARS were?
Rudy: No, I was together with these six people for about three days before they actually told us we were a tribe, and I was glad to be with them. Rupert had a good name; Jenna is a good athlete; I didn't know about Jerri, didn't know her well. Ethan I know is a good athlete, and Tina was okay. So I really couldn't complain about the people in our tribe.

troubleup: Rudy, what do you think of Richard Hatch walking around naked all the time?
Rudy: Richard is a homosexual nudist and y'know, what else are you going to say about the guy? He made that public all over the world. When I came out of the water and saw a familiar scene--Richard naked and bending over--when I say familiar, I mean that I looked at it for 39 days on the first show...

WKDRED: Rudy, why didn't you guys get rid of Jenna? She is useless at Challenges and bossy at camp.
Rudy: Well, that's your opinion of Jenna. To me, she's a pretty good athlete and was needed on that tribe. Jenna sort of sounded like on TV that she was running the tribe, but really she wasn't. We disagreed with what she said. When you first start this thing, you don't have a reason for voting somebody off. She suggested to vote off the people who already won, and that's reason, enough so we just went along with what she said.

bigfan101: Hey Rudy, which was tougher, acting on JAG or being back on SURVIVOR?
Rudy: I would say being on SURVIVOR was tougher. Being on JAG, to me, was almost a pleasure, except for I told them they're going to have to put cue cards up for me to say anything, because anything over five words is hard for me.

speedracer: Rudy, how's that ankle doing?
Rudy: My ankle's back to normal. I think what caused it was from the one Challenge where Ethan was running up the beach with the logs and throwing them up making the ladder. I was on one side of the ladder and had to get the rung in and I think the last one hit me in the ankle, and it made it sore for alittle while. I didn't think it was that bad, but I heard people say I was limping a little bit, so maybe I was.

FireyRedTU: Rudy, were you surprised at anything when watching on TV what was going on between the other two tribes?
Rudy: No, I didn't. Every tribe is on their own. We each had six people and were doing our thing the best we could. A couple of Challenges the other people had better ideas than we did. Why we didn't think of them I don't know. Consequently, we lost two Challenges in a row, and that resulted in me being voted off second.

alljoy: So Rudy, given the choice, would you have liked to have had Richard or Sue on your team once again?
Rudy: If I had a choice, I would pick Sue. They're both strong, dependable, and I would just pick Sue. Richard is just a wise guy, but he's pretty smart, but anyway...I'd pick Sue.

all4jenna: Hi Rudy, if you had to make an alliance out of members of the other tribes, who would you choose, and why?
Rudy: For one, I'd pick Sue, and I would probably pick Richard because I could trust both of them in the first SURVIVOR. I would pick Rupert because he's a man of his word and he stuck to it. And four people in an alliance is enough to win in that show. That gets to you to the Final Four, and then it's cutthroat between you four.

QueenAurora: What was your reaction when you got the call from the producers about another shot at it? Are you happy with your decision to do the show?
Rudy: Yeah, I'm happy with my decision to do the show. The first inkling I had that I might be on the show was when we were in NY in Carnegie Hall. When I got onstage, I got probably the biggest standing ovation of all the people. Later, Jeff Probst came up to me and asked how I'd feel about doing an All-Star Survivor, and I say sure I'd do it. That's all I said, and I guess it went from there.

rupe01: How do you feel Jeff Probst has changed from the first SURVIVOR to now? How has the show changed?
Rudy: I think in the first show Jeff was new. He was as new as we were, and even CBS didn't realize how big this was going to be. I think Jeff's refined himself after each show, and now it's almost automatic to him what he's going to do. When I left the show, the comments he made to me made me feel happy with him, and I guess other people feel that way with him too.

rudyrules: Rudy, it was sad to see you leave; you're great. Did Rupert give you any sign that the others were going to vote for you?
Rudy: No, Rupert didn't give me any signs, and I don't know if he knew anything or not. Actually, there was nothing he could do about it even if he did know: it was 3 to 2. Rupert stood by me because it showed him making his vote at the end of the show, and he voted for Ethan just like I did.

buckeenie: Rudy, how far could Jeff Probst or Mark Burnett make it competing in SURVIVOR?
Rudy: [laughs] Everybody in the world knows who those guys are, and I think just on that they'd vote 'em off right away. If nothing else, for someone to get even with them.

freckles: Rudy, are you taking your wife on any fun trips now that you are back?
Rudy: I got an agent and told her that if she wants to send me someplace, if my wife don't go, I don't go. My wife goes every place with me. I'm glad she's there, because I hardly have to think. She does all the thinking for me, and I like that.

WindyCityJo: Rudy, was there someone from previous SURVIVORs you expected to be there but wasn't?
Rudy: Yeah, Colleen from the first show. I thought I'd see her there, but didn't. I read she was asked to come back but turned it down. She's pretty quiet. Once we all parted from the first SURVIVOR, I'd never seen her again. Everyone else, I saw at least once.

Realwife: Rudy, how do you feel about the girls lying to you about voting you off?
Rudy: At first I was mad. I made a couple dumb statements, but since then I've thought it over, and they were absolutely correct the way they did it. I agree with them voting me off. I agree with it.

Mr.Bud: Rudy, way to go! You're an inspiration to people of all ages! Who did you find the most annoying out there?
Rudy: Nobody was really annoying. I wasn't there long enough to be annoyed! [laughs] I got voted off, I think, on the fifth day, and that's before the infighting starts. I think if you get through about four or five Tribal Councils you have it made, because you're just about merged, and then the infighting starts. You sit back and watch, and they vote against each other. That's the way to win.

SmirlisNrfrlis: Would you encourage more mature people to apply for the show?
Rudy: Boy! Y'know, the older you are, the harder time you're going to have. In the beginning there's a lot of athletics, which leaves the older people dragging. After a while, they throw some stuff in where you gotta use your head, and this eliminates the athletes, because most of them are done, but you have to get to a certain point on the show where a mature person has a chance to win. Unless you get into an alliance, then you got a chance.

heatherb: Did you agree with voting off the previous winners first?
Rudy: I don't agree with voting them off first. If you don't have another excuse to vote someone off, that's a good enough excuse, but I wouldn't deliberately go after these people. There's nothing wrong with winning twice. If they can do it, good luck.

all4jenna: Hi Rudy, what was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in the game?
Rudy: Really, nothing embarrassed me. You know, I wasn't there that long, but I can't say anything embarrassed me at all.

navy_wife: Rudy, were your SEAL team friends happy to see you not paired up with Richard this time? And did you get any friendly ribbing from them about your first time there?
Rudy: In the first show, I rubbed suntan lotion on Richard's back before I found out he was a homosexual and when I got back I apologized to the Atlantic Fleet about that. My fellow members still let me know about rubbing suntan lotion on his back!

NavyP: Have you watched all the SURVIVOR shows since the beginning? If so, which is your favorite?
Rudy: I watched all the shows, and as far as I'm concerned, they're all good. This one right now might be the best yet. If not, the first one was the best.

hotchick: Rudy, do you think that Jerri is playing a different game this time? Like keeping her mouth shut?
Rudy: I think Jerri is playing a different game this time. In fact, when I got voted off, she actually had tears in her eyes, which surprised me. I'm going to have to thank her for the way she felt about me when I see her.

Skylark: How come you couldn't start a fire, being a Navy SEAL?
Rudy: [laughs] We don't learn how to start fires in the SEALS, and I could show you 600 SEALS that can rub sticks together and start a fire. After the first show, every boy scout or adventure person I ran into I asked if they could start a fire rubbing two sticks together, and they all said yes, but no one's shown me yet! And don't go to a lumber yard and find two pieces of dried wood, go into the woods and find two sticks that have been rained on and try it!

jenny: Specifically, what did you talk about with your tribe that made you believe that you were not going to be voted off?
Rudy: Early on in the game Jenna came around and said let's get rid of the two people that won, Tina and Ethan. I said that sounds like a good idea to me, and by that time Rupert and I were already allied, and he agreed. As far as I was concerned, that's the way we were going to vote. Then we had a few competitions, and people saw I was a lagging a little, maybe a bit slower than I was three years ago, and they changed their minds. That's how I got voted off.

Bewkie: Hey Rudy, everyone talks about SURVIVOR being tough. Are there times when you actually have fun out there?
Rudy: Yeah, there's some funny situations out there. I don't know if they'd seem funny to anyone else, but to us they seem funny. For instance, all we had was white rice, no salt, no pepper. I used to spray salt water on my rice for some flavor, and then that salt water is where I'd peed two hours ago too! And that adds some flavor to the rice too!

MonopolyPlayer: Why do you think Tina Wesson called you "Grouchy" on her chat? Did you do anything to her that we didn't see?
Rudy: I didn't know she'd called me that! [laughs] They can call me whatever they want; I don't care. I probably was grouchy to her for some reason or another.

Navy P: Do you remember Gretchen? Do you think she should have been asked back?
Rudy: Gretchen was an outstanding contestant. Yeah, she should have been asked back. I'm probably one of the big reasons why she got voted off, and that was because she was good. Anybody that's good you gotta get rid of, because they're the reason you can't win. You gotta vote 'em off.

Canadian_Rice: Rudy, who if any, is your least favorite Survivor of all time? And who is your most liked?
Rudy: I am probably my favorite Survivor of all time, and I just can't pick out my least favorite.

WKDRED: Rudy, did you ever talk to Ethan about going against the girls?
Rudy: No, I never did talk to Ethan about that. I didn't think I had to. The way things were set up, Ethan would have been the second voted off, but it's probably better for the tribe that he wasn't, because he's a much better athlete than I am, and they needed him.

DWLHsRICHARD: Is Sue as tough as she appears to be?
Rudy: Sue Hawk is a real strong girl. I mean I seen her come down the beach with big logs on her back I don't think I'd even think about picking up. She could probably work like that all day long, and I think she got that from Wisconsin, where's she's from. She's a real good girl, and she's strong.

DanJ: With all of your accomplishments, what in your life are you most proud of?
Rudy: I'm most proud of being a SEAL all my life. Y'know, being a SEAL is not an easy task. I was one of the original SEALS who were picked in 1962, about fifty of us out of the Navy, and I was just glad to be a SEAL.

KayKay: Rudy, who do you think is the smartest player out there right now?
Rudy: That's hard to say, because the only people I was associated with was Hatch, Sue and Jenna. The rest I watched on the show, but really didn't work with them, so I really couldn't tell ya' who the smartest would be. Whoever's the most conniving...

Kbosch: What was the most difficult survival situation you've ever been in?
Rudy: Boy, I went to a lot of survival schools. In fact, some right there in Panama, and it's hard to say. I was in the military for 45 years, and we had all kinds of hard situations. I can't say any one of them was easier than the next.

MikeR945: Rudy, there's some real run-down 75-year-olds out there, but look at you! To what do attribute to your youthfulness?
Rudy: Like I said, I was in the SEALS for most of my life, and for the first hour and a half of the day we did physical training. I left in 1990 and I kept it up. I might have gotten slower, but I kept it up. That's the most important thing, keeping your health, and it takes a lot of discipline to do it every day. Discipline yourself and do it!

BigMikeA: Rudy, who from the All-Stars would make good SEALS?
Rudy: That would be hard to say. Being a SEAL is not all physical. I'd say it's more mental than physical. You gotta make up your mind to put up with training, and they put you through some difficult situations. I think if you make up your mind, there's nothing they can do to break you. I can't say for sure that anyone in SURVIVOR could or could not make it.

Bookgal: Rudy, sorry to see you go so soon. Who will you most miss not being able to "do battle" with?
Rudy: Really, our tribe was getting along pretty good. I think Ethan was worried about getting kicked off next, but it turned out he didn't have anything to worry about. I wasn't battling around with anyone, really. We all got along pretty good.

KathyRocks: Hello Rudy. How has fame changed you?
Rudy: Fame didn't change me at all. I retired in 1990; in the year 2000 I put in for SURVIVOR, was picked and did it. Ever since 2000 I've been running around the world showing my face. It didn't change me at all. The money I got, I gave most of it to my kids. I'm doing okay money-wise, so I don't need nothing.

yahoo: Have you met the two Robs, and what do you think of them?
Rudy: I met Rob C., and he seems like a nice guy. The other Rob I never met ,so I couldn't comment on him. I've seen him on TV, and he seems like a wise guy. But the other one was too, and was a conniver. I thought he was going to win that Survivor he was on, but he didn't. They're both probably nice guys, but both have their ways of doing things.

ByeBye: Rudy, are you going to be on any other TV shows soon?
Rudy: As far as I know, right now, I don't have nothing scheduled as far as TV. But I wouldn't doubt that something will come up, but no, right now nothing's scheduled.

SURVIVOR Host: I am sorry to say that our hour with Rudy is up. Rudy, thanks so much for being here to chat with us today. Do you have any final comments for the SURVIVOR fans?
Rudy: If I was you people out there, I'd go out for SURVIVOR, and maybe you can get on the ninth one. It's coming up, so be prepared!

SURVIVOR Host: Thanks for joining us, everyone. Tune in to SURVIVOR: ALL-STARS Thursday at 7.30PM on Channel 9.

amber is so hot.. i wonder why i didnt notice her in her first series..?...

and im at a loss to explain Jerry Manthey's new character. She seems 'reserved' and even cried when Rudy went (perhaps a sensitive side we have not seen before), not at all like the evil bitch Jerry we saw in Australia..

TRIBAL COUNCIL VOTES
------------------------

Jerri (votes Rudy): (CRYING) Rudy, you are the greatest, strongest man I have ever met in my life and I am so glad that I got to know you. This is like the hardest vote I've ever made and we're going to miss you terribly around camp. I know you hurt your foot and we're all very concerned about you about that. And (SHAKES HER HEAD) ...

Rudy (votes Ethan): You can only win once in this game. He won once.

Ethan (votes Rudy): Rudy, you're a role model for all of America. It's an honor to be on your team. But this is strategical. I want us to win some more challenges and you're slowing us down. Say hi to Jack by the monkey for me.

Jenna L. (votes Rudy): (takes a deep breath) I'm sorry, Rudy. I respect you more than anybody playing this game. And you're the only true hero here. But you're hurt, and we need to make our team stronger because we're losing. But you don't deserve this.

Rupert (votes Ethan): Ethan you're tough. Rudy and I made a pact and I am not voting for Rudy. Gotta vote for you, Ethan.

ROB C. ON HIS TRIBE
------------------------

Clip description: How does Rob REALLY feel about his new tribe members? Find out now!

Markopolo's note: FINALLY! We hear from Rob C.
He has been under the radar so far. This is a FANTASTIC clip with lots of possible spoiler info.

1) Rob C has a "tentative" alliance with Alicia.
2) Rob C doesn't like Rob M and Amber together.
3) Rob C thinks Alicia, Sue or him could be next to go. "I'm in a precarious situation," he says.
4) Rob C says Sue is: "Strategically, I think she's playing one of the worst games I've ever seen."

Rob C (confessional): Around here, what Boston Rob says, goes. That it doesn't really matter who else may have ideas. It's pretty much Boston Rob's way or no way at all. But for the most part, I'd say his leadership is pretty solid. I really don't have any complaints of Boston Rob's leadership of this tribe, except for the role that Amber plays in Boston Rob's decision-making and leadership.

Amber doesn't really bring anything to the table here for us.

Yeah, she looks good in a bathing suit. But that's not going to help us in this game. That, if I had my say, I think we should vote out Amber if and when we go to tribal council, because she is the weakest member of our tribe. She does the least work around camp. And complains the most.

Those are three strikes against her. And I think she should go. But because Boston Rob likes having her around sort of as a queen to the throne or a plaything or just somebody to snuggle with at nighttime, Boston Rob is not going to let Amber go.

Markopolo's note: Flashback to Survivor 4: Marquesas. Rob M. did the same thing with Sarah (Cleopatra). She was the Robfather's little kitten. The two were in control of the Maraamu tribe (after those dumbarses voted out Hunter). The only thing that prevented them from winning was a tribal switch. Will MB give us a tribal switch to ruin Robfather's gameplan this time?

Rob C (confessional): Amber is going to do whatever Boston Rob tells her to. So not only is Boston Rob the leader, he also has two votes at tribal council.

CUT

I don't know if Boston Rob and Amber have as much as an alliance so much as they're kinda of dating a little bit. There's flirting. There's laughing. There's touching and all this kind of stuff.

It really doesn't have any place on Survivor. So I dont think it's strategic. BIG MISTAKE. I think it's sort of a, she's here, he's here thing. They're kinda going to do the same thing. The same thing theyre going to do is whatever Boston Rob wants. And I think Boston Rob is going to keep her around instead of Alicia, myself or Susan.

CUT

I would say that I have a tentative alliance with Alicia. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't vote against her in case that was the way the tribe was going to go. I am in a precarious situation. Whether it's best to rock the boat, and sort of influence the way things are going to go down. Or whether or not I should kind of stay off to the side and be a more under the radar type strategist and make my move later in the game. It's very early.

CUT

Sue Hawk is the most unusual woman I have ever met. Ironically enough, it seems as though nothing in the jungle can kill her, but her behavior may be the one thing that takes her out of this game. Whereas the other players are getting weaker, Sue seems to be getting stronger. She is really an amazing woman in how she can just -- she's drinking the well water, she's eating things she finds on the ground. She doesn't care. She is really bulletproof in the sense that nothing physically can hurt her.

But strategically, I think she's playing one of the worst games I've ever seen. Sue consistently separates herself from the rest of the tribe. She doesn't want to listen to Boston Rob. She doesn't want to play along with anybody. She is just going to do her thing whether you like it or not, you have to deal with it. I admire that in Sue, but I think it's going to hurt her in this game.

------------------------
KING RICHARD
------------------------

Clip description: Is Richard having fun yet? Sit in while Richard reveals his new strategy for SURVIVOR: ALL STARS.

Markopolo's note: Richard has an "alliance" with Colby. He's smart if they make it to the Final 3, but, otherwise, he's screwed and he knows it.

Richard (confessional): It's a wacky strategy, I know, to walk around and do nothing. But actually part of it is, I don't know what I want to do. I am flying by the seat of my pants, trying to figure out what to do. Last time I built the fire pit and this time I started it and I though, eh, I don't feel like building a pit.

So I am walking around, just watching people, figuring out what people are doing and what pushes their buttons.
I am pretty good at smoothing things over, so if it gets flaky and people are getting ticked off, then I'll change and I'll do something.

CUT

Colby and I have had some conversations about working together.

CUT

He knows I'm going to mess with him. And he's just mister neutral, which is good. It's a great way to play the game. But I've got it in my pocket if I need it, that he's playing Mister Neutral.

I'd hate to use that against him (laughs). But at some point, it's going to become very obvious that he's, look at how strong, look at how fit, look at how quiet, look at how smooth, look at how under the radar: Guys, we gotta get rid of that. Ya know, if I needed to. I'd hate to do that to a buddy and all. You know, it's a fun game. It's a fun game. I'm kind of excited. It's a tough one, ya know. I want to win the thing. And I'm here to win the thing. But boy, whoo, am I a target. It's going to be a tough game. It's no easy task

------------------------
THE LIST GAME
------------------------
Clip description: With nothing but time on their hands, Mogo Mogo created the List Game, their version of "Would You Rather."

Markopolo's note: Kathy is not seen in this clip.

Colby (to tribe): X-ray vision or the ability to be invisible?

(Everyone says Invisible)

Colby: You know they did a study with men and women and which superpower you would rather have. Superman being able to fly. The invisible man. And most women would say fly. And most men would say invisible.

Lex: See I would say fly to that question.

Colby: See I would say invisible.

Shii Ann: I would say the guy who controls brains, Doctor X.

Lex (annoyed): That wasn't one of them.

Jenna M: TV for the rest of your life or radio for the rest of your life?

Shii Ann: TV.

Lex (wanting to look cool after he looked like a woman earlier): Radio.

SHII ANN GIVES ANNOYED LOOK. COLBY SAYS TV.

Shii Ann: Frank Sinatra or Elvis Presley?

Lex: That's a tough one.

Jenna: Sinatra .

Shii Ann: Perfect teeth and a hairy back or gorgeous eyes and bad breath?

Jenna M: Oh that's hard!

Richard: I'll take the teeth because you can wax.

LAUGHTER

Shii Ann: What if you can't?

Jenna: I'll take the hairy back.

Lex: I'll take the hairy back. I'll just make it work for me.

CUT

Jenna: This game is fun.

Shii Ann: yeah I like it.

Colby: OK, a trip to the moon or a trip around the world?

EVERYONE SAYS AROUND THE WORLD

Jenna M: The moon is a big rock.

Colby: I'm going to have to say the moon, man. It's such a rare opportunity. Chance to see the earth from space, that would be so cool.

Lex: Too short, it doesn't take you long to get the moon and back. Around the world takes a lot longer.

Jenna: Happy and poor or unhappy and rich?

EVERYONE SAYS HAPPY AND POOR.

Lex: I pretty much know what that's like.

Jenna: You'd be surprised how many people say unhappy and rich.

Lex: Oh, I'm sure.

Shii Ann: OK, love of a lifetime and not remember it or never have true love?

Jenna: Oh that's a good one.

Lex: That's an easy one. Love of a lifetime.

Shii Ann: But you don't remember it!

Lex: At least I had one.

Richard: At least you'd know while it happens.

Lex: OK, death by guillotine or death by electrocution?

EVERYONE SAYS GUILLITONE.

Lex: I'm surprised they don't do it that way. It's the most humane way. And it's cheap as hell. (COLBY LAUGHING). It's a no-brainer. Shawomp. It's fail-safe.

Jenna: You know now they numb them before electrocution.

Lex: Guillotine is so quick.

Jenna: But it's so messy.

Lex: All you have is a bucket. A big bucket.

Colby: Yea.

In memory of Jenna and the tragedy of her mum passing away, I will make this thread a sticky.

well i guess the issue was at the back of her mind and it just kept getting stronger and stronger.

TRIBAL TIDBITS
Jenna Morasca, Sole Survivor in THE AMAZON, is the third Survivor to leave the game without being voted off. The first was OUTBACK's Michael Skupin, who was burned in a fire and had to leave for medical treatment. Next was Osten Taylor, who quit SURVIVOR: PEARL ISLANDS PANAMA because of physical exhaustion.

ON THE NEXT SURVIVOR:

One tribe is shell-shocked by a cruel night on the island, bringing one castaway to tears and making another feel very guilty.

The lack of politicking and scheming around her makes one tribe member paranoid.

During the Immunity Challenge, several castaways are pummeled and knocked off their feet, literally.

I actually felt really bad after watching today's episode. I mean, after the words came up that Jenna's mum died 8 days later i was in a really sombre mood. I was even sorta still sad during Average Joe.

(From Survivor Fever)

Host: Jenna thanks for being here today are you ready to take some questions?
Jenna: Yes, I am.

Q: I wanna wish you well. Thought you were gutsy to pull out when you had to. How did the other team members really take your leaving?
Jenna: My tribe members were like family. I was shocked at how supportive they were when we weren't really there for that long on the island. I am really impressed with them, they're a great group of people and I'm so lucky to have been on a tribe with them.

Q: Did the Survivor producers keep in contact with you for the first few days after you left all stars?
Jenna: yeah, I was in touch with people from SEG and CBS and everyone was really supportive and I was really lucky to be involved with such a great group of people.

Q: Was it just the editing or were some of the other Survivors really that unsympathetic to your decision?
Jenna: I think everybody was sympathetic to my decision. I just think some people think that they wouldn't have made the decision if they were in my place. My opinion of that is it's hard for you to say how you would react unless you're in that particular instance and I hope that other people never have to go through it.
Q: Were you shocked to hear what Big Tom had to say about not wanting to know if his family was hurt until he got back?
Jenna: No, I wasn't shocked to hear that because I could see him not wanting to know but that's hard to say when you're not in that situation but everybody handles the game differently and that's why Survivor is great. I respect the fact that that's how he would have chosen to handle it.

Q: Why did you agree to go on Survivor with your mom being sick.
Jenna: My mom had been sick for 12 years. It's a part of my life and I'm not going to stop my life because of it and she didn't want me to. I went on the first season and then she told me to go on All Stars and then she took a turn for the worse. I don't regret my choice to be a part of the All Stars at all.

Q: Jenna, are you and Heidi still friends?
Jenna: Yes, me and Heidi are still friends and we'll always be friends. I talk to her as much as possible. She's doing really well for herself.

Q: When you and Amber were hugging your voices were inaudible. What were you two saying?
Jenna: Probably something to the effect of her saying "I'm sorry" and that she was sad I probably said it was okay. It's hard for me to remember that night. Whatever she said they were comforting words.

Q: If you had decided to not go on All stars, which Survivor would you have liked to see in your place and why?
Jenna: That's a good one! I would've liked to see Deena go from my season because I think she's a great player, a smart player and I'd like to see her go out there and kick some butt.

Q: Did you end up with scars on your arms? Yikes that looked painful?
Jenna: Yeah, I actually ended up with scars on my legs which were worst than my arms. I have scars by my ankles...I'll always remember my trip to Survivor All stars.

Q: Do you think Colby is hot?
Jenna: Colby is good looking but he is not my type. He's the typical all American boy.

Q: How long did it take the tribe to build that house?
Jenna: it took us half a day. We were really good on building the house. We kind of got together, everyone had their jobs and did them.

Q: Is Rob Cesternino as funny as he comes off!
Jenna: Yes, yes, yes and yes. Rob C (The cool Rob) is the funniest person I've ever met. He's hilarious and he's a good guy and he's a great Survivor.

Q: What was it like to watch the episode last night?
Jenna: IT was tough to watch last night's episode. It was tough to relive that experience but I think that they did a great job of capturing the emotion everyone felt and it really came through.

Q: How do you feel about Richard's constant nudity?
Jenna: I'm not one to talk about people being naked on Survivor so I don't really know what to say. I don't really have a problem with him being naked. If he wants to be naked and hanging out - literally - then that is just fine with me!

Q: How awesome was it that Richard was bitten by that shark? That was the best TV ever.
Jenna: Oh! I don't know if it was good TV for Richard but it was great TV for us! we were living out National Geographic there! It takes a guy with big balls to have a shark attached to your arm and then bit it back! He's like having a court jester around.

Q: Happy early birthday. Did you make any plans to celebrate yet?
Jenna: Oh, thanks. Yes, someone very special to me made some plans for me and I don't know about it but I'm really excited to have a night out in NY with all my friends.

Q: Did you want to be on a different tribe when you found out who was on your team and who wasn't?
Jenna: No, I definitely loved my tribe. Really happy to see who I was set up with. I can't imagine anyone wanting to be on those other tribes.

Q: What can you say about the new and improved and tougher challenges this time around?
Jenna: The challenges were so hard it was ridiculous. But it's the all stars and it's fitting that we get into the toughest environment with the toughest challenges. I think it's great.

Q: You seemed to have really break down that last episode. Were the conditions a major part of that?
Jenna: No I lived 39 days in the Amazon. I was fine with the conditions. It wasn't the conditions at all for me. It was mental. I was really disconnected with the game and I really missed my mom and was worried.

Q: How quickly were you able to get home after you left?
Jenna: CBS was really good. They knew the urgency of me needing to get home and they got me home as soon as possible.

Q: Who were your favorite 3 people out there.
Jenna: I have more than 3! I have Rob C., Lex, Shii-Ann, Kathy and Ethan

Q: Did you have a crush on any of the all star castaways?
Jenna: I have a crush on Ethan

Q: Notwithstanding your mom, what was the hardest thing for you this time around?
Jenna: That was the hardest thing. Definitely. I can't even compare anything else to that.

Q: Who was your biggest ally in Panama. What would have been your gameplan if you had not decided to leave?
Jenna: I think my allies were Shii Ann and Kathy and my game plan was to play Survivor. Make an alliance with someone I could rely on and that was somewhat trustworthy in the game. Go far, help my team. Lie, cheat, steal, whatever it takes.

Q: Do you think Richard is making a good effort to play the game?
Jenna: I think Richard at the beginning didn't make the best effort ever but he'll come around.

Q: Do people still say they got peanut butter or other similar comments?
Jenna: Yes all the time.

Q: You have very annoying people on your tribe. Who was the most annoying?
Jenna: I'd say that Colby at times could be a little annoying only because he just kept to himself and just seemed a little edgy - not that I have room to talk about being edgy - but he did seem edgy at times.

Q: If there is another all star season will you go again?
Jenna: Absolutely, in a second, because I don't feel like I got a chance to play this time.

Q: Did you think Alicia's comments were a little harsh?
Jenna: I think Alicia's comments were very Alicia of her, y'know? She says what she's feeling in a blunt kind of way. I think it's hard for her to know what she'd do in a situation like that.

Q: So, Amber and Rob hook up, huh. What do you think? True love?
Jenna: I think only time will tell if Boston Rob has found his Cinderella! You'll have to keep watching the show.

Q: Have you been offered any other jobs on TV since Survivor?
Jenna: I have been offered some jobs with TV and I'm working with some magazine now and I'll probably go back to my play called "Pieces of Ass" and then I'm going to work with my local animal shelter "Animal Friends" in Pittsburgh. It's a no kill shelter.

Q: Have you ever met Jonny Fairplay? What'd you think?
Jenna: I have spoken to JFP and you know what? I think he's a cool guy. I don't really mind him that much. I mean, he's still going to hell for what he did, don't get me wrong. He did what he did and it didn't really work out but... I thought he was kind of funny when I talked t him.

Q: Did the shark taste good?
Jenna: Oh, my God, the shark was sooooo good! Sometimes your taste buds exaggerate when you're out there so a lot of things that taste like crap taste great but I thought it tasted great. Better than the other fish Richard was catching.

Q: How is Lex really? He seems like a great guy.
Jenna: Lex is wonderful. He's a family man, he's true to his heart, to his friends, he's there to catch you when you need him to. He's a great guy and I'm really happy to be friends with Lex. I'm always there for him when he needs me and he's always there for me.

Q: Did you and Shii Ann suggest a coconut phone?
Jenna: They wanted the house to be... well, originality came into play. We thought since we had the structure worked out we tried to think of things that were original so we came up with the phone and a bunch of other stuff.

Q: Who do you think is the best looking from all the past Survivors?
Jenna: Ethan.

Q: What did you guys do to entertain yourselves all day?
Jenna: We played this game called The List where you list all your favorite top 3 things. We talked about family, what we liked, what we liked to eat... anything.

Q: How is your life now? What's going on with you?
Jenna: My life is good now. I mean despite the tragedy that happened.. everything up to that point. I've been lucky, had a good life. Everyday it gets easier and easier to deal with the loss of my mom.

Q: How differently did you prepare for all stars knowing everyone had played before?
Jenna: I didn't really. The only thing that I went into this game with different is just knowledge of people playing and of the game.

Q: What did you think of the other tribe's houses?
Jenna: I thought Saboga's house sucked really bad. I thought it was pretty embarrassing. Chapera hands down, better shelter than ours. I thought ours was good. We worked really hard

Q: After you found out Tina got voted out, what was running through your mind?
Jenna: Not much. I knew it. It wasn't a surprise for me. I knew that tribe was going to gun for the winners. Jenna Lewis is on there and it looks like she's bitter about anyone doing better than her. It didn't scare me but I felt bad for Ethan.

Q: What kind of play is Pieces of Ass?
Jenna: It's like that Vagina Monologues but has younger girls with younger pieces and it's a great show. Men and women enjoy it.

Q: Did anyone in your tribe notice that Richard was acting as a catcher of fish just as in Season 1?
Jenna: He's not acting as the catcher of the fish because he was catching fish. You can't pretend like you're catching fish and not come home with it. He was providing.

Q: Why wasn't Heidi asked to come back to All Stars? You two were a great team.
Jenna: I'm not sure if she was or wasn't asked. I would have loved to have had her there but we would have been a huge target if we would have been on the same team.

Q: Was there any nudity besides Richard?
Jenna: There were a couple people who were bathing nude but I will not say who they were. They can admit it themselves.

Q: What's Kathy like? She seems real genuine and a great person.
Jenna: Kathy is a wonderful person. She was like a mom to me out there. I'm glad we're friends and we'll be friends for as long as I can see it. She really is genuine and she really thinks about other people.

Q: Who do you feel was the biggest asset to your tribe?
Jenna: Lex, but that's so hard... Lex challenge wise and Richard living-wise.

Q: What is Jeff Probst like? He seemed a little insensitive towards you on last night's episode
Jenna: I completely disagree. I think he was completely sensitive to my feelings. I like Jeff and I think he's a great host.

Q: In an earlier episode Richard had said that he could make fire, what was that all about?
Jenna: I think Richard was just being a little egotistical. I don't think he could make fire. None of them could get fire.

Q: What is Shii Ann like? Both of you are great friends?
Jenna: Yeah, I love Shii Ann. She's a good friend and an underrated game player. I think she got the shaft in Thailand but she's a smart cookie.

Q: On last night's show we didn't see Rob C say anything. How did he react to your decision?
Jenna: There were alot of people who didn't say anything. He did look sad and I hugged him. He's a good guy and sometimes you have to hold your cards close to your chest in that game.

Q: Have you ever been to Brazil or Panama as a tourist?
Jenna: Never been out of the country other than as a Survivor.

Q: Did you eat lots before the show to gain weight?
Jenna: Yeah, I did try to eat lots to gain weight before I went on this show but it didn't work.

Q: Were you allowed to use eye glasses to help build a fire?
Jenna: We tried to use the glasses but a lot of the prescriptions weren't strong enough or we didn't have enough sunlight.

Q: Why did Jeff ask if you were getting messages from home?
Jenna: I think Jeff asked me that because it sounded like I was getting some kind of news that my mom's health was failing. I think he asked because other contestants might want to know the answer.

Q: How did you know what was going on at home? Did they give you any messages?
Jenna: No, I didn't get any messages. It was just a simple gut feeling that I had.

Q: If you could have chosen who would you have picked for your tribe?
Jenna: Exact same group.

Q: How is your school going? How much longer til you graduate?
Jenna: I have about a year and a half until I graduate. I took 2 years off for Survivor. I am in the process of taking online college courses.

Q: Would you want Rupert on your team?
Jenna: No, I would not have Rupert on my team nor would I want him to be.

Q: If an all American guy is not your type, then what is?
Jenna: My type is a guy who is a pretty trendy dresser, more of a little like... I like a guy with a little more rugged look... a city guy who's athletic.

Host: Sorry to say our hour is up. Any final comments for the Survivor fans, Jenna?
Jenna: Thanks everybody for being such great fans of the show and supporting me and you have to keep watching because every episode gets better and better and better

I Had to Make a Huge Decision: An Interview with Survivors Jenna Morasca
by David Bloomberg -- 02/18/2004

Jenna Morasca won her season of Survivor, but then chose to leave in the middle of All-Stars to be with her mother. In this interview with RealityNewsOnline, she answers the frequently asked question of why she went to begin with, talks about her strategy in the game, and much more!

Jenna Morasca had a big decision to make should she stay on Survivor: All-Stars or head home to be with her mother? As we all now know, she chose to go home. RealityNewsOnline had a chance to ask Jenna some questions, and she tells us about why she loves Survivor, why she went back, and more!

RealityNewsOnline: First, please let me pass along my condolences on your mother. Given what you went through, how did you feel about the entire remaining cast and Jeff Probst having an open discussion of your personal life at the immunity challenge location, including a couple people expressing some doubts that you should have come while others thought you should stay?

Jenna: It didn't bother me at all. It was a very emotional day and it was a chance for the others to get their emotions out. I didn't think anybody tried to offend me and unless you went through what I did you can't say what you would or would not do.

RNO: And since were on the subject, I know its a difficult question but I have to ask it because many people are already talking about it [I put my own thoughts into my article on Why Jenna Lost] why did you decide to go on All-Stars?

Jenna: My Mom was a HUGE Survivor fan. We have watched every season together. She fought breast cancer for 12 years and she couldn't stop her life for it and I couldn't either, nor did she want me to. She said, "you go to the All-Stars don't even think twice, and don't worry about it." I never once regretted my decision to go on the All-Stars...

RNO: When you returned, was your family surprised to see you back so early?

Jenna: My family was very surprised. But they we happy to have me there and have my support.

RNO: What was the hardest part about deciding to leave?

Jenna: The hardest part about deciding to leave was doing it completely on my own. I could not talk to any of my family or friends so I had to make a huge decision all by myself.

RNO: Going back to when you were on the show, having been through the Survivor reviewer wringer once (including, of course, how much you told me you just loved the comments about you here on RealityNewsOnline!), did you think more this time about how you would appear on camera to the viewers?

Jenna: I don't go on Survivor for the viewers or to impress anybody. I go to play the game because I love Survivor. I am myself and not acting in front of the camera like a lot of people are.

RNO: You just mentioned, and have talked about before, how much you love Survivor can you expand on that a bit?

Jenna: I just love the game I love what it is all about. I was a huge fan before I was even on the show. It's a chance to push yourself mentally and physically to a limit you never could in real life.

RNO: You were on a tribe where you really didnt know anybody well if you had been placed with Rob Cesternino, or had ended up on the same tribe as him due to a merge, would you have allied with him or been too suspicious because of your first Survivor experience with him?

Jenna: I would have tried to ally with Rob for sure. We have a lot of the same opinions about a lot of the people on the show. I think he's one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

RNO: What was your strategy going into All-Stars, and did it differ from your strategy in the Amazon?

Jenna: My strategy was similar to the Amazon because the one in the Amazon seemed to work OK! I have a strategy that is very loosely based because you have to be able to adapt once you know who is on your tribe. Trust no one was my biggest rule!

RNO: How do you think you have changed due to your two stints on Survivor?

Jenna: I have grown up a lot and had some of the best times of my life since being on the show and definitely one of the hardest times too. I have grown a lot and learned so much about myself...

RNO: If Mogo Mogo had lost one of the first two challenges, who do you think would have been voted out?

Jenna: Well our tribe rocked at the first two challenges so I guess we will never know who would have been voted off first... but not me!

RNO: Who were you most surprised to see on All-Stars?

Jenna: I wasn't surprised to see any of those people there; they were all on my "list" of people I thought would be there before I left.

RNO: What are your plans for the future?

Jenna: I have got a lot of stuff coming up I am very excited about this next year. I am working with TV people now about doing some shows. I am planning on going back to my play, "Pieces of Ass." Also, I am working with Pittsburgh's no-kill animal shelter Animal Friends, I am very excited about that. I also plan to work to promoting early screening for breast cancer as much as I can.

RNO: Thanks again, Jenna!

Jenna Morasca's
Survivor: All Stars
Early Show Interview

13.2.04
Transcript Below

Harry Smith: Former champ Jenna Morasca made an unexpected and unforgettable decision on Survivor: All Stars. She stunned her tribe by becoming only the 2nd person in the history of Survivor to quit the game.

HS: Good morning. How are you doing this morning?

Jenna: I'm doing ok now.

HS: That goes all the way back to November. Jeff asked the question on the show last night...you don't get messages you don't get mail... what did you know in your heart?
Jenna: It was just a feeling I never had before. Like a premonition. We were really close and I knew I had to go with my gut, it was a very hard decision to make.

HS: You talked with your mother before you decided to go. She's a HUGE fan of Survivor.

Jenna: A HUGE Survivor fan. She told me to go do the show and not to worry. She's a fighter and had a long battle with cancer 12 years. She's THE Survivor.

HS: Was there an event, a moment, a time that you said...I have to go home.

Jenna: I thought I was just homesick like before and thought I would get past it like I did the last time. Then we had that horrible rainstorm and I thought that a sign. It was the first adult decision I've ever made on my own. Usually you have friends and family to go to for advice. I don't regret my decision to go to All Stars or my decision to come back.

HS: When you went there were you there to win in the first place... to play the game and win?

Jenna: I love Survivor and I went to win. You can't judge how you're going to feel out there or react even the 2nd time around.

HS: How do you feel your tribe responded as you started to reveal your feelings?

Jenna: I feel so lucky to have been with that tribe. They were completely supportive. They werent worried what would happen if I left. They are a strong tribe, all did fairly well in the game... with good hearts and they really felt for me.

HS: Was there one person you were closest to?

Jenna: Kathy was like a mom to me. I really love Lex. Shii Ann and me kinda connected.

HS: Did you think it was sincere or did they just want someone gone.

HS: I knew they were sincere and didnt just want someone gone. Even the other 2 tribes. I was surprised how worked up they were over my decision.

HS: When you get home, what does your mother say?

Jenna: The night that I got home she stopped eating and drinking completely. It was almost like she was waiting for me. She wasnt talking, eating or drinking. She wasn't speaking. I leaned over her and whispered to her that I was home. She let out a big sigh, like a big deep breath. She didn't speak at all or wake up after that.

HS: She was waiting for you to get home.

Jenna: Yeah, I really feel like she was.

Next half hour: Jenna answers questions from callers...

Julie Chen: Good morning again Jenna. When you announced your decision to all the players, Alicia was kinda harsh.

Jenna: That's Alicia. I wonder if they wouldn't have done what I did in the same situation. They dont know what its like and I would never want them to know what it's like. Her comment.. and my tribe was so supportive. Alot of people from the other tribes really cared.

JC: Alicia basically said, you shouldn't have come, you shouldn't really be here.

Caller: If you had stuck around who would you have formed an alliance with?

Jenna: Probably with Shii Ann, Kathy & Lex. We were going after that before I left. There was strategizing that you didn't see.

JC: Oh really... are you telling us there's an alliance going on...

Jenna: Not really I was trying to work my angles.

JC: Your fellow tribemates, you didn't really know.

Jenna: I'm glad that I didnt know anyone on my tribe before the show, it is good to start fresh. They didnt have any history like some of the people on the other tribes.

JC: I'm sure you had your opinion of Richard. What was it like being on his tribe and always seeing him naked?

Jenna: I really don't have that much room to talk about nudity. If he wants to be naked, it really didn't bother me. We got used to it.

Caller: If you had a 3rd chance to go back on Survivor would you take it?

Jenna: Absolutely in a second. I didnt get to play this time. I love the game, the social game.

JC: You looked alot more miserable this time. You got so many bug bites.

Jenna: The bug bites were horrible but the Amazon was harder. It is a jungle and it just beats you up.

Caller: Sorry about your Mom. The first season you were on...you and Heidi made shallow comments about you and Heidi being the pretty, sexy girls and about the older women. Do you feel bad about that now?

Jenna: I will never live that down. Most of the comments werent from me, but it was inappropriate but I did it and I can't take it back. I was younger then and I was immature then.

JC: Happy Birthday, Sunday you turn 23.

Jenna: Thank you.
