hi , i want to buy a business studies textbook . everyone is telling me the skyes & codsi textbook is awesome, but i find D. Skyes to be one of the authors of many business textbooks.

questions:

r they referring to Business Studies HSC by
D. Skyes, V. Hansen, E. Codsi and published by longman?

if so, is it good??

just want to be assured before spending $60 on sth thats actually awesome

we use skyes hansen and codsi and its preety good..

everything is arranged by syllabus order, but the only weakness i find is that it is outdated

when u say its outdated do u mean the statistics, or the content??

coz id ve thought statistics weren't t that important in BS

anyway do u find it gud for understaning thoeries and concepts??

i suppose the book was written after the last change in the sylabus

shouldn't that be enough????

umm outdated as in the terms of the financial management chapter where you do need a little bit of statistics.. theyre a tad out of date but our teacher just told us to use them still because apparently the markers dont even research up your stats to see if theyre coreect or not...
the books VERY good for concepts and stuff... it gives examples and case studies along with questions for you to do..
