1: this is because he doesnt know the unseen, he could be referring to trials and tribulations, not the hereafter. we all know (muslims i mean, the educated ones) that he will be the first to step into heaven. logically if he were to go to hell, then we would all have to wait for him to come out, which doesnt sound right...No assurance of Salvation.
* Mohammed said. "By Allah, though I am the apostle of Allah, yet I do not know what Allah will do to me." Vol. 5:266
God punishes a deceased if his relatives weep.
* Mohammed said, "The deceased is punished because of the weeping of his relatives." Vol. 2:375
Holy war (Jihad) is a guarantee of heaven.
* Mohammed said, "The person who participates in (Holy battles) in Allah's cause and nothing compels him to do so except belief in Allah and His Apostle, will be recompensed by Allah either with a reward, or booty (if he survives) or will be admitted to paradise (if he is killed). " Vol. 1:35
2:CONTEXT PEOPLE!!! at his time he also forbade women to attend funerals because they used to, according to pre-ignorance times, cry out loud and slap their breasts, making alot of racket. see the sound that slapping your chest makes, then imagine 10 or so 'proffessionals' doing it. very loud indeed. and why should the person weep? if the deceased was good they would go to heaven right?
3: hmmm, this is completely true for a change, except that the (holy battles) added by some goof refers to jihad. jihad btw isnt a "war against muslims". it can be anything from fighting for a good cause (the exploited reason) to striving to learn (like us.w00t! we're doing jihad under your noses!) notice how the words in the brackets refer to a fight, when i have just said that it isnt entirely that. also the prophet didnt do "holy wars". the first was that he originally wanted to raid a caravan to compensate for what they took of them in makkah, which resulted in an unexpected battle. the second (uhud) was also self-defense. i have been to makkah/madinah, and mountain of uhud is ALOT closer to madinah than makkah. the third was fought at MADINAH'S GATES. the prophet then accepted a 10 year treaty with the makkans, even though he had been degraded in the wording of the treaty. when the makkans broke the treaty the prophet went and conquered makkah with NO BLOODSHED. not sounding aggresive, huh? the prophet undertook two more conquests, one was which he went to meet an army which had formed to take makkah off him again, anf they almost succeded in defeating the muslims, but when you have hundreds of angels fighting for you, how can you lose? also this was the only battle in which the muslims were more, but many of them fleed, making the muslims the smaller army again before they won. the last one was to meet a phony rumor that persia had set an army to take over makkah.
may i also add just for laughs that the devil was with the quraish (makkans) for one battle, i think the first one. when he saw the angels towering over the small army, he took flight, farting all the way. the makkans asked him "where are you going?"(they didnt know who he was) he said " i can see what you cant see" and kept on running/farting. rotfl! that deserves to be in a comedy!!
