What do the top selective schools in NSW such as james ruse, sydney grammar, NSGHS etc etc, use for their HSC for subjects like:
-Maths Ext 1 and 2
-Phy, Chem and Bio.

don't know if you consider Penrith High to be top...but for Ext 1 Math they use Cambridge or Fitzpatrick

Maths extension 1&2: Cambridge, Fitzpatrick (they're the mainstream ones)
Phys+chem+bio: Hard to say as there is a variety of books for the sciences

At SBHS:

X1: Cambridge, Fitzpatrick
X2: Patel, Cambridge
Chemistry: Chemistry Pathways, Students Guide to HSC Chemistry (notes). <---- Both are OK, but I found Jacaranda and Conquering Chem to be more useful.
