who's going to pull up some scientific facts about nerves and stuff in a child? Because the more I stay here the more I'm inclined to lol.

The baby inside the womb has no understanding of the outside world. Pain is not something they would be able to comprehend. Nor, would abortions performed in Australia be painful to the child.

Compare abortions to euthanising your own dog. Although it may not be painful to both life forms it is destroying life. Would you say abortion is murder?

I dunno. I don't think so. It isn't a person. i definitely think its upsetting, abortions are awful to take the chance of life away. But it is always for good reason, it is illegal without good reason.

I also think it's odd that all the girls here don't think guys should have a say, if you have a child they share the legal burden of the child, you both had sex, you both created the child... however he ends up with no say in the matter
it is impossible for the father to have a legal right to choose whether the child should be aborted or not unless he overrides the woman's choice!

You know that women die during child birth? High blood pressure, bleeding to death. Some even paralysed.

You can't force a woman to carry a baby for 9 months just because it has your DNA. When men are able to artificially create a uterus and carry a baby then they can have a say.

if the woman's life is in danger then its a different story. im talking about women making selfish decisions to abort a pregnancy without taking any consideration as to what their partner may feel.
and besides men rule women dont. thats the way society has been for hundreds of years ;)

Haha very funny. The world would be a happier place if all presidents and prime ministers etc. were women.

What would you do without us? We need each other, men and women. Men need women more than women need men.

Thankyou. hence my point with abortions, the decision needs to be made by both the man and woman.
I dont agree with your first paragraph tho. The world would be full of fairy's, flowers and no porn if women ruled.

what makes you think they don't take a partner's wishes into consideration?
and what makes you think they are being selfish?
my point is that the woman and only the woman should have the legal right to choose.

then they dont abort the pregnancy. duh!
ur obviously one of the selfish one's who believes that if a man disagrees with the abortion you will do it anyway (because u claim to be the only one who has legal right).
give us a break. everybody knows the baby is owned 50-50 by the man and the woman

so if the woman wants an abortion and the man doesn't,
the man gets his way.

that is ridiculous. the man should not have the power to override a woman's decision about her own body. if anyone has the choice it should be HER.

we have already established that they both can't have equal legal rights to choose as there is the problem with disagreeing.

I don't see how wanting to have control over our own bodies makes us 'selfish',
when men like u want control over someone else's body!

then how do u think marriage works?!
man and woman, as within marriage, should both have equal legal rights when it comes to abortion. a man disagreeing with an abortion doesnt mean he is overriding the women's decision because the baby is owned by both 50-50!
its a different case if the baby was owned by man to woman 40-60 which clearly isnt the case...
all u women should be worried about is carrying that baby for 9 months and stop whinging

you are an ignorant dickhead

what has this got to do with marriage?
people become pregnant when they are not married, often

you are totally disregarding the point- that if the man and woman disagree on whether to have an abortion or not- and if the man gets his way, he is overriding her control over her own body.

It can never be 50-50. it is impossible in such a situation.

you know wat i refuse to go any further to reason with u. ur just too damn stupid. if u cant understand the legal rights of who owns a child then i really very sorry for u. goodluck living in the real world.
