Decided to finish Your Lie in April because I was half way and my friends said it was good

Not sure if I found it good because I haven't watched any series in so long but holy fuck

I'm not sure since it's been a while since I've watched anything so my memory's a bit hazy in terms of comparing it to something. I remember during the first half I really liked the build up but then stopped watching about midway but that was because I lost interest in anime in general. Picked it up again and it was really good all the way through and the last few eps were amazing.

I reckon it would've been better if the main characters were of an older age given how serious/melodramatic they got at some points (theyre 14).

Tbh I mostly enjoy slice of life/drama anime with a hint of romance so I might be biased with how good I think it is.

It's rated #13 on MAL though so I'm guessing the majority enjoy it

Have you watched Fruit Basket? I think it's only like 28 episodes.
or maybe The Wallflower (This one's okay I didn't like it but a lot of other people do.)
