I figured we need one of these....
there are lots of really good concerts going on all the time and as music students we should know about as much of them as possible :)
so common guys, any good ones coming up?? any genre is fine :D

there is a symphony meets jazz thing at the opera house on teh 17 and 19th of feb... with james morrison, i might be going to see that. that looks way fun :)

Link: http://www.sydneysymphony.com/event_detail.asp?s=258

hmm what else..

i read in the paper a while back about The Rite of Spring ballet being peformed by the QLD ballet and Taikoz... in June or July. im SO going to see that :D:D

thats all i can think of at the moment. but add more..

how was Symphony in the domain? did anyone go and see it??

symphony in the domain was maaaaaaaad!!! I loved the planets - i was just sittin there singin along to the trumpet parts...... oh the food there was so expensive like hot chips were like $4 what a rip off! so my friends went to woolies to get sum cheaper food, and when they got back they bought me a surprise gift and it was a whoopy cushion cos they said that it souds like a trumpet! hehehe

anyway have u seen the bugs bunny ad poster? its false advertisement - because, on it, it says 'sydney symphony orcehstra' but the orchestra in the picture of the poster is actually the melbourne symphony.

PEACE
