Well, I sorta agree, but I think fanfiction versions outstrip them both. There are some fantastic writers out there now.
Completely agree with you there. Movie Draco makes me cringe, really. Book Draco is bearable because well, it's canon.

i've only read up to chapter 10 or 11 in DV, though....

I was saying the same thing when Harry Potter first came out, and, well, thats DEFINANTLY not the case now.Oh by the way Severus/Hermione is the best. Pawn to Queen is the most essential read, go to witchfics.org or la societe des femmes dangereuses.
