What a massive faggot Adebayor is

Ah well, I guess we can all count Man City as genuine top 4 contenders now and maybe even beyond.
yes

and not really. they beat arsenal 3-0 at manchester stadium last season, meant nothing for both teams.

also, wait after the second international break for the top 4 teams to click into gear and then for adebayor and captain toure to fuck off to african cup of nations around christmas time

trues! but u guys heard about the new 25 player per EPL team starting soon.

The rule is that only 17 of your 25 can be of NON-English/Welsh background and over the age of 21. :hammer::hammer::hammer:

Currently all premier league teams pass this criteria. It is also the same criteria that applies to the Champions League.

Won't change a thing for anyone i suspect. But at least it's forcing a minimum, and overtime they can slowly increase that if need be.

re: The Official Football Thread

He is pretty over-rated in my opinion
yeh, he's OK at Right Back, but I highly-doubt Moyes will play him ahead of Neville, Heitenga or Baines <<<<<---NOT sure bout him, but I know he is a Wing-back.

Its a good move overall, as least playing in the Reserves for Everton will keep him somewhat fit for South Africa 2010. :hammer:

re: The Official Football Thread

Neville's injured, Baines is a left back and Hibbert is shit. With Neville being injured I'm thinking Heitinga will fill the void at DM and Neill + Hibbert will be fighting it out for RB

I doubt he'll start this weekend seeing as he has had no games under his belt, but he'll be getting a lot of game time for us this season

re: The Official Football Thread

hibbert has got down syndrome. he is also a thug.
neill is a great signing though and i hope he does well both for everton and australia's sake.
i also think that when everton get some of their key players to return from injury and/or begin to hit their strides, they have a solid-looking starting 11.

trues, whats their primary formation? is Felliani a CM, DM or AM.....

------------------------Howard--------------------------

---Neill/Neville------Yobo-------Distin---------Baines

---------------------Heitenga----------------------------

-------------------Felliani----Cahill------Dmitri (Cant rememba his last name )

--------------------Saha----JO---------------------------

re: The Official Football Thread

We usually play a 4-4-1-1 with either Cahill or Fellaini off the front striker..... our fully fit starting XI would look something like:

--------------------------Howard----------------------

Neill/Heitinga-----Jagielka-----Distin-------Baines

Pienaar-----------Fellaini-------Arteta------Bilyaletdinov

----------------------------Cahill-------------------------

----------------------------Yakubu-----------------------

Could maybe swap Heitinga for Fellaini in the centre of midfield as well

exactly, hence if the game wasnt 95 minutes and 20 seconds long....it wouda been a draw, which is a fair result for both sides. :haha:

I reckon Moyes has a gem in Jack Rodwell, as he can slot into the side so well.

Also, Congrats to all Everton supporters, for a good 3-0 WIN!!!

Same goes for undefeated Chelsea, 6 in 6, Suck it up Spurs (if ur a spurs fan, i am dearly sorry) :sun::sun::sun:

A draw would have been a bit harsh. I
United really need to address the GoalKeeper situation. I was quite disgusted with the first City goal.

4 minutes additional time was it or 3?

Man city score and celebrate long, add on another minute.

Ferguson makes a sub, add on 30 seconds.

94;28 Owen scores, add on another minute.

about 97 they call the game, at worst the ref has played 20 seconds too long.

At the end of the day, if man city had scored you can bet your house they wouldn't be bitching about an extra 30 seconds.

didn't owen score at +5.30?
i don't believe it takes a whole minute to celebrate a goal, and another 30 secs for a sub.

anyway i agree with the notion that a draw would've been harsh on manure, seeing as they played really well second half - and could've scored more if berbatov wasn't so shit.
