Just bought his double disc essential album and i just wanna see who else thinks his songs are amazing and 'never too much' is one of the funkiest songs ever.

what's your favourite songs by him? for me it would be 'house is not a home' 'never too much' 'anyone who had a heart' 'its over now' and of course 'superstar'

i brought that ablum as well, oh my god so many soulful hits, it's so worth ur money, i like "so amazing" and i(who i have nothing), i think his tracks are long in that ablum, his self-titled ablum from j-records is totally showing the younger artists how R&B can sound modern and also emotional at the same time, i hope he recovers soon and do more good ablums

i have listened too much R&B, the modern young singers really have no clue about vocal ability and emotions in their music. i came across luther vandross back in 2003, i was still listening to r. kelly, joe and brian mcknight, then i was curious just how good 4 grammy winning ablum can get for luther, so i checked it out, man........so emotional and modern at the same time, age doesn't slow him down, don't judge at something when u haven't been through it, not many young adults listen to him, more into usher etc, but i think it's the least to show some respect to people online even if the topic doesn't get u excited
