Seem to have dropped the numbering of new models. Confusing since they've kept the ipad 2. (The 'ipad' will be more advanced than the 'ipad 2')

4G LTE. Retina display. 5MP Camera

Looks good, sounds good, impressive features, Retina display to die for, affordable pricing, etc.

... but I still have no use for one.

I prefer the safety of a full computer with me so I carry my Macbook Air which I can type much faster on, do everything I need to do, run Excel, play games, surf net/BoS, chat to the gf, use facebook, etc.

Looks decent, the display should be good.

Still won't be getting one :)

Nothing that's really prompting me to go out and buy one, I still see it as an incremental update, much like the 4S was.

I'd buy it when the price drops drastically. But by then who knows what edition (am I using the right terminology?) is out when it does. =S

I agree with a few of the comments here.

It looks pretty cool, but I honestly don't have a use for one. I have an iPhone and a macbook air and they can basically do everything I need them to do.

I would rather use a real computer.

And a kindle for reading on the train.

Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade from the iPad 2 so I think my dad and myself will be content with what we have.

I wish iPhone 5 was released today. I'm dying for a new phone - I have no application for Blackberry.

agreed.. I was hoping for a "revolutionary iPad3" with new features and the works..

it's faster, got a better screen and a better camera, but nothing special.. bit of a let down.

it won't work on australian networks as dont have our frequencies on LTE/4G so unless you want 3G.

So what if it did have 1800 MHz LTE, you would still only get 4g on Telstra's network

iPads are similar to iMacs for me

They're extremely pretty and I want one but I sure as fuck don't need one when I have an iPhone 4 and a MBP
