It won't make 1 jot of difference when you consider the foreshadowing made about Theresa in ep 24. Whatever happens, Ryan (the only character whom any of this concerns that we're suppose to care about) is headed for a miserable end of series again. I have a strong suspicion that the end of this season will echo the end of last season. It'd be shit, but that's what I suspect will happen.
