Wish I was watching the match!

The two other games have made up for that though.

43.1 Lee to Singh, OUT, and he strikes with his first ball! Good length, on off stump, RP Singh tries to drive through the line and gets a thick outside edge straight to point
RP Singh c Hussey b Lee 4 (12b 0x4 0x6) sr: 33.33
Mongia is an idiot, there was no need for that single and he should have kept strike.

URGENT St Annes Ryde is currently playing A Reserve in the NSW churches cricket comp and needs a few more players who can play 2 day games Saturday arvos from 130-530. Church involvement not a requirement. Comp from Sept to March. You dont have to commit to every week if you cant just be available to two weeks in a row as often as possible.

Insurance provided. No gear needed. If you have your own gear you can use it.
$20 a match.

We will guarantee you at least 7 of 15 matches. The more the merrier. No fixed venue for games so distance is not always an issue.

Expressions of interest to ian please asap .it is now urgent 98081412 / 0417141205

Expression of interest may or may not be a commitment it is your decision but if you are at least interested please call quickly to discuss.

Our comp starts(started) first saturday in Sept. Yes it certainly is late. We have been badly let down. 16 registered and when two or three pull out it makes things difficult. Anyway we are just managing but another couple would be great.
Its just a wish that there might be someone out there who'd like to play a bit-even if they cant play everygame. If we find some players that would be great if we dont so be it!

How would that be cool? it'll only mean that the indian board holds right to host ALL the events for the next EIGHT years. personally, i would be the last person to travel to the same country to play the same game eight years in a roll, esp india, no offence. If they want it, good luck to them.

its all about money and India would be the place for the greatest revenue. there is hardly competition within the country to cricket. The fact is you are not going to go India every single year, let alone are you going to at least one of the matches (if it was held elsewhere) every single year. And you are not going to watch every match of the tournament every single year.

Chances are you might go there once or twice and watch a few matches in the 8 year period. And watch the rest on the tele or dont even bother watching it all.

so in essence its nothin but gud for the game.

Mate atleast read the article, these are TV rights, just as channel 9 has NRL TV rights. This time around BCCI wants to buy the cricket broadcast rights for the next 8 years and then it will subcontract to other channels. In this way a media company wont be dictating BCCI which sponsor they can have and which they cant.

It does not mean every match will be played in india but just that if BCCI wins then they will own the rights for the broadcast of the next 2 wcs and any other icc event other then bilateral series.
