School Rank: 4th (2011)

English (Advanced): 79th/209 (~120 Band 6s last year)
Mathematics 3U: 50/166 (~100 Band E4s last year (I think))
Mathematics 4U: 40/115 (~60-70 Band E4s last year)
Physics: 29/105 (~33 Band 6s last year)
Economics: 10/55 (~25 Band 6s last year)

Just curious as to what you guys think. I'm trying to judge the quality of ATAR estimates at the higher end of the spectrum.

You're in a fortunate position, you'll definitely exceed 99

I reakon 99.3-99.6. In my opinion, the higher the estimate the higher the accuracy.

Worst case scenario is that you get 98.5+ with your marks. You should be looking at around 99.50 give or take.

Thanks for the replies.
They were actually my own internal ranks from last year.
Final ATAR ended up being 99.70 (Using assessment marks on a calculator yielded 99.30, examination marks yielded 99.90)

I just wanted to see how accurate estimates on this site are.

I knew they were your ranks, hence why I said 99.75, because I thought you got that not 99.70 lol.

I was actually giving an estimate based on what I thought. "99.50 give or take" is a pretty good estimate, I think.

Hell, why were you student of concern? Does that mean like 75% of your cohort are students of concern?

This was back in Year 8,9 and 10. Bottom 25% of the year.

All your estimates were reasonably accurate :)

This is quite illogical if a "student of concern" is defined as a bottom 25% student. There has to be a bottom 25% no matter what, whether your school likes it or not. Even if you improve that bottom 25%, there will still be a bottom 25%!

Is it me or does this remind you of Inception?
