Yea prolly, but i didnt kill it rofl. 1 day revision we'll see how i go.danz90 said:I reckon that's probably one of the easiest Chem papers in many years...

These are some calculation answers that I got, that I can remember. Can someone compare/clarfiy?Shadose said:All the calculations I found quiet hard. I guess I didn't practice them recently for a long time, lol. Found so much mistakes in the calculations.
For the AAS for zinc, I was like wtf.
Uh yea i think recall i got somethin like that. whatta flukedanz90 said:These are some calculation answers that I got, that I can remember. Can someone compare/clarfiy?
The average mass of zinc in tablets - 0.16mg
Titration question, [HCl] = 1.057 mol/L
The identitfy of gas = H2(g)
Highest energy released by: Hydrogen gas fuel
Amount of energy released by 80L petrol = 2.6 x 106 kJ , or something like 2,640,000 kJ.
Litres of Hydrogen Gas required: something like 269,xxx L ?
r u sure?JamesTockuss said:The cathode was the chlorine gas turning into chlorine anions.
That looks like a source of relief. I confirm the zinc ironically, because thats what I got ... but I wrote it in small letters or crossed it out. The gases are right, they are hydrogen, I don't remember the other values, but they look like mine.danz90 said:These are some calculation answers that I got, that I can remember. Awesome, got this tooYamiyo said:Voltage of galvanic cell -- 1.60V
i putttttcookiemonsterz said:ooh that was the only question i wasn't sure about. I used the Cl2 gas porential, times it buy 2 and added it to the +ve nickel one. That meant i got a voltage of about 2.9X volts, dont quite remember. What did evry 1 else get?
Werent you supposed to include esterifacation in the ethanol q?UncoKane said:It was so much harder than I was expecting!
I'd never seen so many calculation questions in my life!
I was so cut that there were no batteries or esterification questions!

Uh no.danz90 said:Awesome, got this too
And the equation was :
Ni(s) + 2Cl-(aq) ----> Ni2+(aq) + Cl2(g)
?
Yep.r0kstar said:r u sure?
coz thats wat i did
except a teacher sed it was water? :S
yup is it right?squeenie said:It was an alright paper. Not too easy, but not as hard as some of the past papers I've done.
Did anyone else get hydrogen gas for question 20?
yea thats what i said : /danz90 said:For people doing industrial, did you determine that the system was NOT at equilibrium?
This.fishbulb said:Uh no.
Ni(s) + Cl2(g) ----> Ni2+(aq) + 2Cl-(aq)
The previous one has two oxidations, which is impossible
