for any 2nd year commerce people..
what are the contact hours that i can expect from choosing finance and accounting subjects..?

with com first yr
online handbook says quantitive meths has 3 contact hours

but wats with the lab

doesnt it make it 4 a week [ 2 hrs lec, 1 hr tute, n 1 lab]??

Expect two hour lecture and one hour tutorial for each course.
Pretty much standard for all commerce subjects.

Most second year subjects have excessive group work requirements, so if you want to you can add and extra hour each week.

There are only four labs in the entire semester, you are assigned according to tutorial allocation. Like for group A it would be weeks 2, 5, 9 and 12 and group B would be 3, 6, 10, 13 etc.
So Labs were not counted towards total contact hours. You will get a Lab exercise booklet at the beginning of the semester and you can do all the questions before going to the Labs and just get the Lab assistant to mark you off the role.
