Sastre will be crowned Champion tommorow, unless by the luckiest of miracles if Sastre retires.

Tommorow is a flat stage to Paris, Evans cannot make up or lose time i.e. catch Sastre

Evans conservative and mediocre team is fucking his chances of winning.

Next year its gonna get tougher:
  • Contador is back (he won the Giro this year)
  • Kohl will get stronger
  • So will Sastre
  • The Schleck brothers will improve
  • Ivan Basso might be back next year

I heard a few rumours, not sure if its still true or not, Micheal Rasmussen's ban will end July 25 next year and team CSC would be signing him up.

I don't think the Tour organisers will invite Basso back again.

Can't see that happening at all....

Plus he'd probably be a rubbish cyclist with out all the drugs.

cadel needed to be 30 seconds better and sastre on form should have been like a minute worse.

word is cadel is going to move to a better team. if he was on csc and sastre on silence-lotto cadel would have won by 3 or 4 minutes. popyvych was poor. i think all i saw his team do was when van summeren put in that one effort on the l'alp duez. also rumours mcewen is off to a team where he can have some help in the sprints.
