Usually not, places are only usually available to recent school leavers. If people drop out, then there sponsorship company is usually used for the next year's BIT students.

apparently on a chair
there are so many odds

first you've got to be high on their reserve list
you can't really "transfer" your way into the reserve list
secondly you gotta wait for someone to drop out

chances are as slim as that elyse chick on america's next top model

after you hear the BITs complain how crap work is, you won't want to transfer
the money isn't worth it.

I would of thougt in a few years time (maybe now?) all the IT grads without decent work will be holding a Grad cert or master of Bus/Com. So it might be wise to specialise

true memo.....B Bus/B comp seems for people who just want a ''bit'' of IT but BscIT or BIT is for people who want more of IT and if wanted you can still take an elective in business/accounting or some other subject......but yeah i do plan after i finish my 1st degree I'd take up a part time degree in business.....and by the time i finish ie in 2007 I hope the demand for IT professionals in high again :) *fingers crossed*

kk....Tia...firstly i dont get what you mean....and i dont want you to elaborate anyway, as your post seems quite irrelavant to the question i asked.....

secondly, my degree is more or less the same as BIT at uts ...ie bscit does have a years work experience ......but id say there was no harm in applying for BIT even tho i thought and was advised that the chances of getting in were slim due to my lack of participation in the extracurricular activities....im just enquiring here *if transfer was possible*

btw i know people who applied for B accounting scholarship at UTS...who had literally NO extracurricular activities as part of school life...and the result...they FAILED the interview....good luck to those people,,..

therefore no crap comments/spam is required in the thread i made or just **** off

I personally prefer the back of the yellow shirts where is says "Work IT". I'm tempted to wear my last year's yellow shirt to camp instead :p.
