Is it possible to transfer from single science degree into arts/science combined (at sydney)? If so are you allowed to major in psychology in the arts degree?

A safe bet would be distinction average and above but a high credit average should suffice. All the best ~ :)

Because you're moving from a single degree into a double degree, I don't think it comes under an internal transfer and you may have to go through UAC at the end of the year. If you choose this, you can get all subjects you do count towards the degree so you won't have wasted any time at all. And if you go through UAC, you don't need amazing marks. (anything credit average would be more than fine)

It is definitely possible to make psych your arts major if you do that!

Also keep in mind that if you want to do some arts subjects, you have up to 48credits worth of electives as part of the science degree, so you can use some of them on artsy subjects.

Id probably have to catch up on two arts electives anyway, cause currently all im taking is science and maths. Only because Im not sure how ill feel about a transfer come the end of the year.

I'm pretty sure the only requirements are:
- a major for both degrees (one for each (or more))
- 192 credit points of study
- no more than 48CP of science units (PSYC counts as Arts)

So you're fine. Don't stress.

But I need to take both if I want to major in that for arts.

That's just suggested, that's not ~required~

I was going to do half of my degree out of order if I stayed in BE/BMedSc
So do you have to do 96cp each of science and arts? Can I do 108cp science and 84cp arts?

If you want to do psych, I'd suggest doing PSYC1001 and PSYC1002 in first year because they're a requirement for second year, and second year is a requirement for third year etc and you need to do at least 4 third year subjects to get the major.

Not all those subjects are offered in summer school either, so you can't rely on catching up then.
