You don't need to make one, unless it says "first-hand" investigation (i.e practical).
I used textbooks for this, I don't want to play with dangerous current.

Search for mutual induction.

so...
u write stuff like this?

secondary coil was connected to galvanometer
and primary coil was connected to power suplly...

i cant write a good result -_-
when we did this
we placed primary coil into the secondary coil
( primary coil has smaller coil .. so step up transformer )
the needle was like vibrating near the 0A -_-...

some1 help me writing a good explanation TT

I was going to write a whole lot.... then i clicked on that link. Isn't the HSC online stuff enough? It kinda explains all you have to do.

Hmm, have exactly the same prac exam tomorrow...

If this was asked in the HSC a research task wouldn't be good enough. You would at least have to model it someway, which might be using a computer program or anything else but would have to be demonstrated.
