It was a combination of questions my teachers made up and a bought paper. They wouldn't tell me which though - apparently it's not school policy. That really irritated me. It's not like I could get the actual paper, but I would be able to practice those style of questions. You can do that in the real HSC. Stupid bureaucracy

Ok. So no one did their CSSA paper yet. (for maths)

I think I really screwed up my Business Studies Trial.

I didn't study much for Business because I had two exams the day before for Business Studies trial and after those two exams, I really couldn't be bothered to do anything.

I'm sure my ranking of 1st in Business has just gone out the window.

Now I've got Maths and Economics on Monday, and I'm finding it hard to get into the mood to study.

By 3:05 on Monday I'll finally be finished my trials...

AR, I failed english paper 2 since I completely ran out of time + made up cloudstreet lol, and for modern i'll get 50% cause I was just so tired while doing it, and wasn't ready for the Germany question omg. Oops , there go my ranks, which wern't actually good in the first place..

I've had so much study to do I haven't been able to fit everything in.
And two days after my trials end, I have my first hsc exam! (That's in two weeks)

Argh I know what that's like.
Ever stay up till 2 telling yourself you'll study, but you just don't do anything cause you're so tired, and then you go to bed tired, wake up tired, and sit your exam...tired.

I have a feeling that's what's gonna happen to me tonight :]
The fact that my printer isn't working is sorta disastrous. :S

Was raped in the maths exam (blasted year 11 prelim) and partly raped in the economics short answer and multiple choice (didnt get a chance to cover the topics that were in there)

But no time to whine, phyiscs tommorow and that'll be some serious flogging if i put the same amount of effort i did for eco and maths.

lol trials so far for me havent lived up to the idea of being extremely difficult. However all i have done so far are english maths 2u ancient history

still got legal and physics both tomorrow morning then afternoon respectively then followed in next morning by biology

anyway aims are:

Standard english: hoping for something in the 80s would be nice
Maths 2u: should be able to get 75 or above
Ancient History: prefer something >90/100 but will be happy with a 85/100
Legal studies: omg i know it all just been not studying until somewhere after half yearlies so anyway want badly to get over 90% would be epic
Physics: aiming for 90 and above
Biology: currently second or first not sure hopeing to take or remain in first so prob need a between 95-100 but shouldnt be to hard to do

We had our trials before the school holidays. Which means we had tests constructed which only covered 3/4 of the syllabus. However, it felt great to have a stress free holiday.

As for position, I topped most of my classes. Overall, I came somewhere in the top five for my school, to the best of my knowledge...

Trial exams....

I thought cramming half a years work the night before for the half yearlys was bad.....now facing trials, and a whole years worth of work to cram in the night before. Should all schools place bans on trials exams? All in favour say I!

you should just do more study through the year
