Question 2:
"A lie can be half way around the world before the truth has got its pants on" - Winston Churchill
Assess the role of the historian in promoting vigilance about the truth.

Question 1: (2005 Independent Trial)
With reference to this source and others, evaluate the purpose of history.
The source was Inga Clendinnen from the Telegraph maybe, lost my paper so I cant post it for you.

Although youre right in saying that you cant compare marks until you see the paper, but nor can you until you know the marker, so it doesnt matter anyway.

techie...i would have liked to agree with you but mine were worth 50%
errr... Your internal exams should be worth no more than 20% of your internal mark (10/50), which equates to only 10% of your final mark (5/50). This is a set figure, along with 80% of your internal mark (40/50) resting on the major work. Those figures equal 50%, of which the other 50% comes from your external exams.

If your exam's worth that much, you school can get a severe fine for going outside BOS regs.
