When is the application deadline for main rounds?
Is it midnight 06-01-11 at the beginning of the day or at the end of the day?

On the website it says BEFORE the 6th of January, and also, the UAC site closes from midnight till 7am for some reason.

So, I'm guessing by midnight TONIGHT is the last time you can change them.

lol relax, you still have until 2mrrow.

http://www.uac.edu.au/undergraduate/check-change/

scroll down it says "Change of preferences must be made through Check & Change and must be submitted
by midnight (Sydney local time) on the relevant closing date."

maybe research next time instead of making people hit the panic button.

errr technically speaking, midnight on the relevant closing date (which is the 6th of Jan) is 12am on 6th of Jan, i.e. tonight. which just makes everything confusing......

well guy think about midnight is a new day and if it says midnight on jan 6th. it means the midnight that just went by like 9 hours ago. if it was the upcoming mignight, it will be a new day and hence midnight jan 7th?

Midnight is defined in Australian law as the moment when a day ends, i.e. the moment when 23:59:59 goes to 00:00:00. Therefore it closes tonight.
