Well basically my UAi is .7 below the cutoff, but luckily I was accepted into the Access scheme for disadvantaged students. I was just wondering if anyone know how the you get your offer if your in the Access scheme does it come lyk a few days after the main round offers or does UNSW ring you up??? Also if anyone has any information on text books or even just the course for COmputer Science it will be greatly appreciated...

As for the textbooks - don't worry about them now.

You can use the text list page to find out what subjects use which books - but sometimes these books are not needed at all. Your lecturer will let you know in class during the first few lectures of what is expected.

They get offered on the same time if I heard correctly.

some people have nothing better to do ;)

I heard AI and compilers and OS are one of the harder 3rd year branches from my tutor. But with perseverance and will, you should be able to do it well.

To relief GaZ_2004 from his disbelief, I humbly advise her/him that the time here is different from that of sydney. :D

He's right. The haskell textboks are a lot more useless than you think.

Someone should slap the maker of it.
