Ok...but what if i wanted to see what UAI i would get with my current results?
what would i do then?
In most schools, they have the average mark for each subject in the HSC listed in the annual report. It is given in a table.

To put it in SAM :
Look at your current marks and the average for the assessment you did.

So say if you are doing English Advanced and your mark was 70% and the average was 60%. and then look at the table. And say if it says 75% in the table, then you would give yourself a 85% in SAM, seeing as you pass average by 10 percent, so assume that you will pass average by 10 percent in the HSC.

By that method. I am looking at a UAI of 95.8 :(...I only used rank equivalents. Did not use your method. But if i did use your method, i would get a UAI of 98.2...which is pretty unlikely.
