final ranks and trial marks:

Earth & Environmental Science: 25/34 (trial 71%)
Visual Arts: 42/56 (trial 64%)
General Maths: 16/36 (trial 59.5%)
Advanced English: 193/222 (trial 51%)
Geography: 58/86 (trial 77%)
Textiles and design: 9/28 (trial 90%)

other info: school was ranked 17 last yr (65% got above 90)

not really..do you know your trial marks? or can you roughly figure out a raw mark?
coz marks and ranks go hand in hand, without each other they dont really tell alot..i mean, like, you coming 16th in maths, but you could have a mark of 50 or 90, we dont really know.

I guess you probably want me to reply

Even though you go to a pretty good school, your marks aren't too good. Especially for lowly scaled subjects.

You will need to make a good performance in the HSC exam especially for english/maths unless you plan for maths not to count towards your UAI.

i'm thinking about low 70's at the moment taking account of your well ranked school. It can change greatly depending on your HSC exam performance.
