Do you have to buy Medentry's Platinum Package ($800) to do well in the UMAT?
& do all that practice stuff they give you.

Or would the 2 practice tests ACER give you be enough?

No u dont need to buy anything to do well in the umat. Perhaps get a lesser package if u wish to familiarise urselfcwith umat, but it is by no means necessary and platinum package is ridiculous

you dont need to buy the umat programs, theyre an absolute rip-off. the practice papers they give you should suffice.

I wouldn't go and spend $800 on that package when you can get practice papers for much cheaper price =)

I would suggest that you attend MedStart for UMAT help. Their materials and the tutor significantly improved my understanding of the types of questions and ways in which you can attain the correct answer! Furthermore, their online drills and practice papers are really helpful!!
