No...you don't have the full logo jess...I'm getting the frog part from its legs. HMm, it's not on the main page of the website either...you might actually have to GO to UNCLE to see it...because I saw it all over the place, notably the student services buiding. Also, I got the fish part from its tail (also not shown in jess' logo)

griffith? don't you mean gryphon? Or is there such a thing?

I know a gryphon has the head of a bird and the body of a lion. Or is it the other way around?? Meh...

ok so ive consulted my friend and she knows what it is,,, its a hippocamp- (hippo meaning water,,, camp,,, not too sure of) but it was poseidons horse. it has the head and forelimbs of a horse and the bottom half of a fish, its associated with the connection of the sea with the land and is supposed to be symbolic of masculine verility. i think the only real attachment would be the coming together of water and land, newcastle is an area where the land and water come together.

btw if you want to know more about the hippocamp, search google for 'hippocamp horse fish' otherwise it comes up with the references to the brain (the hioppocampus is also an area of the brain)
