It's the same thing every year .. but it's pretty spiffy.

Just make sure you don't go overboard with work. We don't want you going to bed and waking up with slit wrists (and it has happened).

Uni is fun for the first semester. As much as I hate it, my first semester was nice. I met interesting people, some who are close friends now, others who I want to stab in the face. Depending on how well your first semester goes (in the sense of meeting people) you will decide then whether or not you like uni or hate it. Once you hate something it's hard to stop, so try and think positively.

Medical Science eh? I believe UWS is opening a medical school soon, if not already, will you be one of the first to get a graduate MBBS, or are patients not your thing? Whatever you want to do, good luck with it. :)

Uni fun for the first semester??? I think you mean the first 3 - 4 weeks, until you realise just how bad the workload is :p

And very disorganised!! Damn ... this week and its early mornings are gonna kill me :(
What was worse for me was that I'm used to late night/early morning sleeptimes and later daytime awakenings. I don't have one day where I start later than 9:30 :( So I was plainly tired all last week. Mix that with trying to work, it's an interesting combination.

Dad woke me up the other morning and I said "go away and wake me when I have a degree."

Ignore him, hes just trying to scared you. But uni is completely different than HS, you aren't spoon fed, your expected to do everything on your own and the marking is hard.
