not really. I know that advanced is a lot more intensive at usyd at least.Put your second option as normal science... they are the same thing.
I did/am doing all but one subject advanced this year and the workload is pretty cray.
So far at usyd I know:
Advanced chem - lectures are different, but content is mostly the same, test is very difficult.
Advanced maths - lectures are different, content is harder, exam is a lot harder.
Advanced physics - lectures are different, most content is the same with some extra stuff, some of the questions in the exam are a bit harder.
Yay.
At usyd - for biology, yes, for chemistry/physics/molecular biology and genetics, no.Do adv sc and normal sc people attend the same lectures?
