With January 4 fast approaching, who wants to tell their UAC and any fears they've got with it?

No.1 on my list is Comm/Law @ ANU but with only 95.15 I'm riding on a wing and a prayer that the cut-off doesn't rise.

Well January 4 is Preliminary round right? So who gets offers for them? I still don't quite get how that works? I don't expect an offer till the main round which isn't until the 18th.

My UAI is: 94.00
and my preferences are:
1. B Social Science/ B Laws UWS Parramatta - 90.00 (2005)
2. B Social Science/ B Laws UWS Campbelltown - 90.00 (2005)
3. B Social Science UWS Bankstown - 65.00 (2005)

I'd prefer number 1 to number 2 as 2 requires much more travel

melsc i do believe they have set it so that the cut-off for parramatta and campbelltown are to be exactly the same.
Yeh I know but when I was in panic -before HSC mode and I didn't think a 90 was possible I noticed that Campbelltown had vancancies so I added it in as a preference

Well my UAI is 90.95 and the only preferences I'm actually considering are-

B Communications(Journalism) @ UTS - 93
B Communication(majoring in Journalism)/B Laws @ UWS - 90
B Communication @UWS - 70

So either the cut off for UTS drops and I have a short commute, or it's the double whammy Parramatta/Penrith campuses for me. Either way I'm v. excited.

Very few people get through in the Preliminary round, I can't exactly recall what the conditions are but I think these tend to be the interview-only type subjects... but don't quote me on that.
