I doubt it. How can you be insured without be registered anyway?

If your unregistered, legally speaking (if I'm thinking correctly) shouldn't you not be driving the car hence not being on the road or in an accident?

How could the car you be insured and not be registered?

I thought the car had to be registered before it could be insured?

Or it'd be a track car that isn't street legal. :/

Either way if they can prove you broke a law theres no payout.

no!
the whole point of rego is that rego also comes with third party compulsary insurance aka green slip, which protects you from injury claims from other people when involved in an accident.
if you're with an insurance company for third party property, but not rego, you're fucked if a cop pulls you over for routine or if you unluckily get involved in an accident, even if you're in the right, you'll still get in shit for not being registered to drive.

no.

rego is basically insurance in case someone dies or gets injured.
if you dont have rego,
and you injure/kill someone,

have a good time working off that loan for the rest of your life.
