Long story short, I've studied just the 1st year fundamentals (compulsory courses) for UNSW Commerce. These are (each as 6 UOC):

ACCT 1501 Accounting & Financial Mgt 1A

ECON 1101 Microeconomics 1

ECON 1203 Business & Economic Statistics

MGMT 1001 Managing Organisations&People

ACCT 1511 Accounting & Financial Mgt 1B

ECON 1102 Macroeconomics 1

FINS 1613 Business Finance

MARK 1012 Marketing Fundamentals

Will these be recognized by USYD Com/Law? Thanks in advance.

haha are you LH? anyway none of them will be recognised..its a new policy USYD brought in for Sem 2 2011 whereby their business faculty will no longer credit first year core subjects for some 'integration etc etc' reason.. yeah i didnt know that till late last year..

its somewhere on the USYD site..i tried finding it just then but couldnt..so if anyone does come across please post to confirm :)

alternatively call the business faculty to confirm..

Rules for credit applications (undergraduate students only):

From Semester 2, 2011 The Business School is generally no longer granting credit for core units to its Bachelor degrees for students transferring from other institutions. This is to ensure all students receive an integrated first-year learning experience and to protect the learning outcomes of the program.
