I'm in a Local FEE paying course atm..
Am I entitled to get this 20% discount if I "pay up-front"?
And if so.. how do I "pay up-front" lol..

On my fee statement it doesn't seem to have included the 20% discount... hehe.

You're meant to request FEE-HELP if you want it during enrolment....

the CSP actually cost alot less (even if u dont get the loan and pay upfront - IE GET 20% disscount) The government PAYS for alot of ur course for FREE.

however, with FEE you pay all the fees (thus u pay MORE because government doenst pay for any of it)

why would u be entitled to 20% with a FEE placing?
dont u have to pay it upfront anyways

A DFEE course is a Full-fee paying course. Only CSP Courses have access to the Govt paying 20% of your student contribution fees. Unfortunately, you'll have to pay the entire course fees. You can however request the FEE-HELP in which the govt loans you 9.8k, and you won't need to pay it back until your taxable income reaches somewhere around 38k.

The partial upfront payment of $500 or more is a discount from UNSW themselves [and is available for DFEE and CSP students], and I'm not sure if its like a further 20%, but I do know its a small discount. Of course if you can pay 9.8k dollars immediately to the Govt [as seen in Commonwealth Govt Forms in Student Profile at MyUNSW Portal], it will attract a big discount from the govt/UNSW
