^yea i've asked a few times on the other post and no one answered lol.. grrr..

the lecture said the coat has to cover up to the knees or something??
so if u have the coat i think you can wear shorts..

where are you guys intending to buy your gears from?

Yep. Go to the Matthews Arcade and there is a small newsagent, next to the pharmacy. You will find lab coats and goggles at the back. You're looking at around 20-30 for the lab coat, maybe 15 for the goggles.

err.... that's more like the Zippy’s Blockhouse .... and i didn't notice any coats selling there...

Matthews Arcade is more like... 15mins walk East from where the Zippy’s Blockhouse is... uphill

You can try the Copy Centre, which is opposite to the Zippy Blockhouse.

I was under the impression that if you don't know where places are within the uni, you would try to find it on the campus map:

I was mentioning the name of each place so that you could find it on the map.

It turns out my impression was an illusion.

buy your goggles from optometry clinic (ask someone in the optom building if you don't know where it is - optom building is near mcdonalds). they're a lot more comfortable and they're adjustable to suit your head size. i found the ones near zippys to be extremely bad to wear and they didn't fit properly onto the top bit of your nose.

also you can get very hot whilst inside those lab coats - wear something light.

Yes you're allowed to wear shorts but you must wear enclosed shoes and a coat.
