UOS to be confirmed tomorrow!??!?! (1 Viewer)

i got this email from the student centre saying (amongst other stuff),

1. As foreshadowed in my email of 16 December the pre-enrolment facility will close at 5:00pm tomorrow, 6 January. Up until then you can vary your pre-enrolment unit of study selection as you require;

does this mean that my 4 units for sem 1 are locked in tomorrow? dont we usually get a period to try it out til the census date or something?!

Heya,

From my understanding, the UOS is locked into tommorow to check for compatability in terms of requisite requirements - for co-requsites and pre-requesites.

After Semester starts you can change units for up to a certain time (last year was about 4 weeks I think) then you are locked in for the rest of the semester. So if you are happy with what you have now then decide you don't like it after you start, change then.

I called up on the 5th and asked because i couldnt add a unit that i needed to do. The lady said it is shut off for now but will come back on soon and you can redo it up until the census date. (31st march i think)
