using the applicant or daddy (1 Viewer)

ive been told that we shouldnt use "the applicant" or "daddy" by plath for our related texts in our essays, since its apparently part of the ext 1. syllabus and we could get marked down for it in the hsc.


is this bs, or if not, what are the chances we will get marked down and by how much approximately?

we were advised not to use "frankenstein" as a supp text for Ext. 1 as it is currently in the 2u syllabus..

we just got another text- we didn't wanna risk it
