I just asked a few friends for you
They said it helped them a lot for maths in their first semester
It just goes over basic calculous and a bit of algebra
+ a few of them met people from their course and became friends

Hey everyone, I too would liek to do the course, but I have been away from maths a while, having dropped it in year 11 and the course assumes Year 10 knowledge, if I study like a year 10 textbook or something and catch up on the basics, will ti be okay?
the bridging course is for people in exactly your situation, so it'll be perfect for you. year 10 maths is pretty basic anyways, I spoke to the coordinator of the course and they said the course works for people who have been away from mathematics for up to 10 years, so you should be good to go.
