Hey guys,
wondering what the difference between usyd's 'computer science and technology (advanced)' (87 atar cut-off) and 'information technology' (92 atar cut-off). heard 'information technology' is the more 'presitigious' comp sci course...??
keep in mind i do realise the difference between comp sci and IT, but usyd's IT course lists 'computer science' under its areas of study, so im wondering if usyd's IT course is in fact a more sophisticated comp sci course.
i'm interested in doing the highest level of comp sci, NOT IT. so if this so called prestigious comp sci is not that, please let me know so that i can just opt for 'computer science and technology.'
Side note, are there any perks comp sci in usyd has over unsw?
thanks in advance for any assistance
