UTS 2015 Info Day? (1 Viewer)

Would you know what'll be on at Info Day in regards to potential 2015 UTSers and if anything in particular would be worthwhile to attend/participate in?

really? I've never been to any uni's info day/open day before so wouldn't know

ok, so u go in, there will be students wearing the same clothes directing u where to go and u can ask about specific faculties, etc. They lead u and u basically talk with students, professors, tutors, etc and get booklets containing info on courses and stuff relevant to the uni. Most of that stuff is available online through the uni's website but going to an open day has the advantage of having a real world experience of the uni, culture and students. It is worthwhile to attend but not necessary.

UTS also throws a mad music concert for O'fest when semester starts:

Remember that open day, info day and orientation week + o fest are all different things.

Info day is kind of like open day but on a smaller scale I guess.

Alright, well I'll be attending regardless seeing as a friend of mine who has just finished the HSC is planning on going to UTS next year and I might as well tag along since it may be the only time I'm able to step inside UTS lol

Though by looking at your sig, you're going to UWS? Not sure if it has an Info Day but iirc there's a Course Decision Day held on the day before (Monday 5th January)

Info/open days are so fun, i started going from yr 11 onwards. Even though most of the information is available online, theres something about checking out the campus with some friends that is really exciting. The freebies are also good

UTS always has paddle pops available, for open day last yr i took like 5...
